he's going nowhere - end of story ... blimey cant people use their judgement a bit more ? no way he's going anywhere next season - end of conversation - if we get relegated next year i suspect he may consider it and if we have 2 or 3 decent years in the prem he may consider it - but other than that - nothing to see here |

READ SOMEWHERE - over the last few years the current Man Utd squad cost - wait for it and take a huge deep breath - £1 Billion to assemble .....
what have we spent >? < 20 million - it does give some hope that 1 billion can end up as utter crap and I genuinely think we could have beaten UTD yesterday - think thats why we have to keep the spine of the current team as their mental game is the best in the premiership ! |

would like to totally agree with this post - professionalism here was un real - the tackle Omari was booked and yellow carded for was like a player playing for his life - and that was with about 3 mins to go ..... shows you the mentality of the team and management a totally professional - no one took a dam thing for granted and everyone kept focused until about 90+2 when a few smiles crept in
As for Westlake on commentary - thats a different story |

just think the important thing to remember is that Huddersfield are a championship football team - at least for now - and if anyone thinks there is an easy game at this level they are crazy.
The Hudders players actually have a huge amount to play for - i.e. they want to impress if they think they're going down - maybe to get signed elsewhere, etc - also free of any pressure (lets face it they're down already) can also sometimes make teams perform very well .... no easy games not in any of the 4 major leagues and this one we need to be focused and with it else there will be a very slippery bannana skin |

Hate to say it - and here comes the critics I'm sure but I suspect there is already big plans behind the scene for a total overhaul of players. Let me preface this by saying this squad - Jan 2023 until now has brought me more joy and happiness than just about any ITFC team in history and i was there in 80/81 (and before). HOWEVER - i just dont think the current squad / team would cut the mustard in the premiership - sorry and I think the owners / McKenna know it - its a brutal game - and plans will be being made. For me - guys who wont be inluded are Luongo, Hirst - 2 defenders - and we desperately need more quality - a lot more quality up front - a lot more.
Remember the worst in the Premiership will be better than Leeds, Narwich , Leicster, etc and we have poor points from these teams this season...... I'd say 6 new faces , Hutchinson signed for sure + another 30+ Million will get spent - at least - otherwise - what is the point. I'm in the same business (ish) as the owners - there is a cart load of money that could come our way and I think they may go for it big time - Private Equity, etc - 30-50 mill is peanuts |

I live in Italy and was able to get to the derby game a a few weeks ago but i was chasing a Naridge fan up an alley with an axe when i tripped over and cut two of my legs and an arm off - just a flesh wound
Yesterday I found out that due to over mastubatory exertion i need to have my final arm cut off.
Now Ive checked with British Airways and they have said that they can offer me a head and torso only discount for a round trip day return on Saturday but alas I have no ticket for the game.
Hopefully I have your sympathy by now ?
Ok in all seriousness - if I fly in for the day - its a 2000 mile round trip in 24 hours does anyone have a spare ticket - i'll pay handsomly for it / make arrangements to met / pick up , etc ?

out of 30,000 I've got 7,500 out with mental health issues brought on by extreme stress , Ive got 8,000 metatarsal injuries brought on by fans kicking doors, walls and cats when Hull equalised for the third time on Saturday and Im doubtful on 3,000 more who after 3 draws on the trot have sawed their own heads off .........................
Looking forward to a fully paid for by ITFC summer break to effing well calm down after the last 15 months |

Udine - havent ventured to Udinese yet - been past it many times - impressive looking stadium - they are a bit tardy at the moment by all accounts !!! nice part of the World though - half the price of the UK with twice the quality of life |

Rejoining the forum after many years absence and now living in Italy so games have been limited to the ITFC feed ! Lifelong supporter - started in 1977 and saw pretty much every single home game 1979-1983 - a good period to start !
I rejoined the forum as I'm exhausted from this season - need to share it ... many nights of watching games like Bristol City at home and Southampton - what an incredible season.
My suspicions tell me we're going up - perhaps after another twist i.e. lose to Hull but still get straight up ......
whatever happens absolutely and utterly "WOW" from early 2023 until now - just an incredible ride - the club is in good hands - i hope we make it up this season - if we dont pretty sure we'll win it next year ! |
