Not a cat in hells chance of the game finishing even if it starts. As soon as the tent comes off the warm air will hit the sub zero ambient air and the pitch will start to freeze in minutes. Then it's just a matter of time before its abandoned. That's assuming the stadium passes the safety check first of course !

If the ambient temperature is at zero or below when the covers come off there is no way the match will finish even if it starts. It's about 15 deg under the tent and as soon as the moisture in the grass is exposed to the outside air it will freeze in minutes. Can't see it will be playable myself |

Florida boy, not sure if you are referring to me as I said this season is over as far as automatic promotion is concerned , but it is and here's why :-
It's a question of simple mathematics. To gain automatic promotion a team needs a minimum of 92 points or in simple terms 2 points per game. Therefore after 6 games you already need 12 points, we have 5 points. To get back on track we would need to do the equivilant of winning the next 7 games in a row which would give us 26 points from 13 games, and then, we would still need 2 points a game average for the rest of the season !
Can we do that ? As I said, automatic promotion is now beyond us, I believe. If we did achieve it I'll be as happy as you, but I fear not. |

Dreadful display, no pride, no passion, players looked dejected right from the first whistle. It's a sad fact that as far as this season is concerned automatic promotion is already beyond us. Very unlikely we could now make the play offs and at best another mid table finish.
Time for a change now the season is effectively over before we end up in a protracted relegation scrap ! |

I said on here a year or so ago before he moved to west ham that he was worth a punt if the price was right . I watch him play for MK Dons at Col Utd. That day he was awesome, pulled their defence all over the place and had 4 one on ones with the keeper, scoring 3 quality goals .

However, having spoken to his mother while at the old Layer road there is no way he will pull on an ITFC shirt trust me ! It's just not going to happen unless he's had a major heart transplant ! Warkys tash, please don't berate the stewards on here, it's nothing to do with ' growing a pair ' as you put it. Our friend with the hat could not be removed from the executive box roof because if a struggle had taken place and he had rolled off the roof onto the spectators in block S there would have been massive implications. that's why they held back. He was however, eventually ejected, arrested and banned from PR as a result of his actions.
Sorry to go all Health and Safety on you but sometimes you have to think of the wider picture. I'm sure no one would want that lump falling on their head from a height ! |

Changing the subject slightly, am I the only one getting seriously p****d off with the scum based evening star and their constant sarcastic, wind up comments ? Just a random look at the back pages comes up with ' Portman Road gloom ', ' not good enough for the top half of the championship ' and ' a motley crew of makeshift full backs '. Oh how they love this constant stirring ! Bloody disgraceful if you ask me. Anyone else feel the same ? I've never wanted to turn them over more than I do now in Easters game ! |
