Good day put on by the club . What a big shame that those kids who had been invited to play in the mini festival were refused entry to the pitch once they had finished playing . The reason given " there are too many people in there already " . Bull**** !! The place holds 30,000 people . Obviously some of the kids were so upset and in tears that after playing for two hours and missing the first team train they thought they were going to miss out on seeing there idols altogether . After 20 minutes arguing with the stewards the kids were let in just in time to catch a quick glimpse of a couple of trialist's signing autographs . Thanks ITFC , YOU RUINED MY DAGHTERS DAY !! |

Jeez !! Why do people assume that this means Murphy is on his way out ??? Every squad with any kind of ambition needs 4 quality strikers . Murphy , Mcgoldrick , Sears & Pitman looks like a pretty good 4 to me . If Mick chooses to play with 3 strikers (which I believe he may this season) then we need one striker on the bench . We must add two new faces if we are going to take our push for promotion seriously . Its been a great season so far but I can see us losing pace with the top 3 if we don't add something extra . I think Sears can be a very good signing IF we complement him with some quality but I don't see that in the current squad . Yes there are plenty of grafters and the hard working player Mick demands has rewarded us with our best league position in years but I think its been easy to see for all the hard work the players put in we are too direct and predictable , other teams know exactly how we are going to play and we need someone who can help us play with another dimension . I wouldn't be surprised to see today pass without any new additions as I think Mick prefers to use the emergency loan option . C'mon Town , lets get this promotion push back on track . IMWT |

To be fair he never got played in his favoured /best position while he was with us so not really surprised he didn't want to come back . Fulham played him in his preferred central role and he had a few really good games for them in the prem last season . Wouldn't be to disappointed if we got him back but wouldn't want to see him shoved out wide again . That said , I would still rather see Teddy Bishop given a fair chance as I think this kid may have something a little bit special about him . |

Sorry Mick but Yes , Gerken was to blame , its not down to Tommy or any of the other boys to catch the ball , thats the goalies job .As much as i love the way he runs around and puts the effort in big Frank just isn't ready yet and i'm sure he's a real nice guy and all that Mick but its like we are playing with a man down when Tabb is on the pitch . We haven't really seen much attacking wing play from from any of Mick's teams as yet so Saturday was like a breath of fresh air . For me that is definitely what has been lacking . Those areas have looked so defensive . To have players running at the oppositions full backs has got us two goals and brought a lot more excitement to the fans watching instead of hoofing a long ball down field . I thought Hunt was excellent , and what a difference Murphy made , i thought he to was superb on Saturday , works so hard for the team . 3 points at Leeds tonight is def possible . COYB !!!! IMWT |

muccletonjoe ... Hunt would of been a better option imo . I was not at the game either but my understanding was that Tunnicliffe started on the left and moved into the middle when Hyam went off . Why bring on Tabb to play on the left ?? He is completely ineffective there and out of form so my shout would of been Hunt on the left . I get your point though , give a chippie a blunt chisel and you'l get a s**t job . I think Mick has worked us into a great position given what he has to work with . Perhaps we have over achieved a little recently and the expectation has risen . Its proven that anybody can beat anybody in the championship so the key is consistency , and our squad is just not good enough or big enough to build any consistency . We don't have enough effective players , ones who can really change a game or influence a game (except Mr Mgoldrick) and until we add a few of these i think it will be much of the same , win one , lose 2 , win 2 , lose 1 . But anyway , we must keep backing the manager and the team on the pitch and hope for the best as what we have is what we have . Perhaps instead of slating Mick we should start asking serious questions to our owner . COYB !!!! |

But to spit abuse at a young player giving his all and still learning so much about the game is bulls**t . Being a fan is about supporting the team , supporting the players on the pitch , That's what we do as fans isn't it ? Why would you want to throw abuse at a young player like Luke ?
