I have mixed views on Hendo....hes a good keeper but he didn't want to come to us when he was at Pompey, but chose to sit on the Bench at Wet Spam instead, and I think Loach is just as capable as him to be honest. As for Stearman, he was a beast for us last season...would love to see him back in a Town shirt.

I wouldnt read too much into what Wikipedia says - its open for anyone to change information at anytime. Few examples from the past that I remember - Dos Santos signing for us after his loan deal, and Sol Campbell apparently signing too....both removed by the person who put them on there when they realised they were being a numpty.

I hardly think its just the economic climate that is deterring people from renewing their season ticket. How about looking at the performances on the pitch and people weighing up whether it is value for money!!?
However just for the record I have renewed my ticket - its a big summer for Messrs Evans, Clegg and Jewell - lets hope they deliver!

If this deal does fall through (and lets face it, due to all the stipulations its a high probability), then will Leadbitter and Delaney want to make an effort anymore if selected for the ITFC first team knowing the manager would prefer to send them to a club that is debt ridden and faces an uncertain future?
Some will argue that they dont make an effort anyway when thay play, but it will be even worse I'd imagine!! |

I dont know about 1 game doesnt make a season - in this case it was 1 half!! The first 45 minutes on Saturday were woeful. Chopra was constantly on the floor, Edwards was about as useful as an inflatable pin cushion and some of the others were running around like a fart in a trance! Just for the record Mr Jewell.....not everyone was clapping him off. I had my head in my hands as I couldnt believe what I was seeing with Town being 4-1 down and then a man light! Perhaps Lee Martin might actually "man-up" now and get on the weights. Im sure he lost the ball in the lead up to his sending off anyway! |
