Agreed, I've emailed already as think it is a great idea. It doesn't undo a lot of the damage done to the relationship between the club and the fans, but it is at least a sign that the club is willing to engage. |

ipswich4life - Considering the article headline is fairly self explanatory, you are aware that you weren't forced to read it, nor were you forced to comment. Maybe next time you could just ignore it rather than a petty dig? If some people find it newsworthy, then it's newsworthy! |
| News Comment | Refunds on Wigan Tickets at 00:59:38
@Rgp... You are aware that the club didn't move the fixture, so it wasn't really up to them to 'stop and think about that'. I do sympathise with people that have made bookings etc as I've been stung with this before, but it's naive to expect the club to set a precedent of refunding for travel/hotels. You take a gamble when you book early and save money, we all know that there is a risk of this occurring. Rightly or wrongly. It might well suit the current mood of having a pop at anything coming out of the club at the moment, but it doesn't mean you have to resort to a pop at everything. |
| News Comment | McCarthy: Academy Staff Outstanding at 20:05:29
We didn't fail by 25.3%, that doesn't make any sense. It would be like saying you've failed your driving test because you got a couple of minors. I'm confident that this will be addressed and we'll be ready for category one next year. |
| News Comment | McCarthy: Goal After the Break Crucial at 00:57:14
Some of the posts on this board are laughable, from people who seem to almost seem to revel in a reason to post negative drivel. 4 points of the playoffs and we have people thinking we have a divine right to be doing better? The irony of Walk the Wark calling MM 'thick Mick' , whilst suggesting that a side that was bottom last year hasn't moved forward at all, isn't lost on me. Honestly. |

Blimey, I assume everyone on here spends all of their holidays each year 100% working! He's still an employee, regardless of the position he holds, therefore he has the right to do what he likes on his time off. If ME has approved this, which he quite clearly has, then its Marcus you should be ranting about for approving this holiday, not Clegg! My word, our attendance figures would be even worse if they were measured in IQ's :/ |

After the defeat on Saturday I got fairly sick of reading these as they do not seem to take into account what we currently have in our squad, who can leave and who we are stuck with… and in turn how this affects our wage bill. To be fair, he's criticising the way people are saying we need players, without thinking about the detail, followed by his suggestions, with plenty of reasoning and detail..so no hypocrisy really. Really good blog :) |

All time record low at Portman road then. Well done Clegg.... Again. - What a stupid comment, there's not a single free Saturday between now and the end of the season, what else was he supposed to do! Seriously a lot of these moaners haven't got a damn clue! Also, the record low attendance is 2838, so lets see a bit of sense and realise that we live in a real world! |
| News Comment | Mowbray in Agreement With Jewell at 21:44:11
So you're having a go at Mowbray exaggerating, and then you ridiculously exaggerate yourself? The 6 yard box is 6 yards, so 5 is going to be slightly less than that..hardly inside the box is it? |
| News Comment | Mowbray in Agreement With Jewell at 15:55:52
To be fair to Dalian, how is he supposed to know if he likes the blog without reading it? :) But I agree with the whole blog...I think we got too carried away thinking we were better than we were when we ditched Magilton, what I'd give to be back at those lofty heights again |
| News Comment | Bullard Launches Hull Appeal at 13:00:15
Lambretta - The football league commission is effectively a football version of an employment tribunal. As such, I'm afraid your incorrect. An employment tribunal, and I know this from experience, do hear cases relating to loss of earnings. They also expect the claimant, in this case JB, to have made some effort to mitigate his losses. For example to not bother to look for work and claim would be looked at unfavourably as there's been no effort from the claimant to reduce the losses from being made unemployed. However in this circumstance Jimmy has taken employment and therefore met this requirement. He is therefore legally entitled to claim unfair dismissal, which is 100% a tribunal issue and not a Crown Court issue. The only way it would become a court issue is if he appeals the tribunals decision based on inaccurate representation of the law. He is therefore more than entitled to claim the difference in earnings over the remaining time on his Hull contract and his lower wage at PR. |

And old timer; Yes Bullard is good, but seriously the best midfielder in the championship? Do you have a general idea of football outside of Ipswich? lol David Bentley, Mark Noble, Kevin Nolan, thats just West Ham! Vicente at Brighton, and however many more Maybe a bit of realism wouldn't go amiss at times! |

Agree entirely with Marshalls_Mullet. I think we should offer £100M for Messi, on 300K a week. Might seem expensive now, but in May 2014, when we're in the Champions League Final, it'll have been money well spent. Equally ridiculous of course :) Splashing money foolishly like the 25K for Collins might not buy success, but that kind of attitude will buy us failure for sure! |

When did he ask for anyone to feel sorry for him? Blimey, out of a reasonably interesting story where Clegg's given an account, that's all that stands out? |
