Chambers Unlikely to Return Against Pirates
Always I big loss, not interested what anyone has to say. Especially in this young team his leadership and the role he plays is huge. Hopefully Skuse will be fit so we still have an experienced figure on the pitch.
fingers crossed he's back for another big game against Portsmouth next week
Keane and Nolan in U23s Facing Leeds
Two very good, and important players if we can get them to full fitness and the top of their ability. Fingers crossed they make it through however long they play tonight
Town Set for Mings Windfall
"However, with the club, which already made significant annual losses in the Championship, facing a £9 million loss of revenue due to relegation to League One, the additional income from the sell-ons is unlikely to give manager Paul Lambert a transfer kitty to work with this summer."
Target Mayor at Portman Road
Know nothing about the lad, but I trust Lamberts judgement. Low risk on a free too. Lets see how this turns out then
Harrison's Pompey Move Confirmed
Must admit, I have a horrible feeling about this one. I can accept that he may of wanted to leave, but I'm worried about selling someone like him with his league 1 record to a promotion rival. I really hope I'm wrong, but this one isn't sitting right with me
Norwood at Town to Complete Move
A very good signing IMO. Will be very glad when this finally (hopefully)gets completed. feels like this has been going on forever
Lambert Targeting Both Promotion and Rebuilding For Long Term
Big summer ahead, and a even bigger task ahead for Paul Lambert and his staff. Getting back into the championship, especially at the first time of asking will be no easy task, but I do genuinely have faith that PL is the man to fix the club.
It's gonna be a rollercoaster of a season, we all need to stick together. A huge year for our club. Good luck to PL and the lads...
Birmingham Revive Bart Interest
As sad as this is, all things considered, this is the right move for everyone involved. Clears a huge amount off the wage bill, and brings in some money to use during the summer. For Bart personally, as the report says, he needs to be playing at championship level at the very least.
Thanks for everything bart, you've been a fantastic servant to the club, on your day you've proven to be a tremendous goalkeeper.
Lambert: Wait and See What Happens at the End of the Season
I must admit, I saw some nervous tweets from fans earlier about this interview (didn't hear it myself), and started to really panic. But now I've read it myself, I don't think there is that much cause for concern. (Feel free to tell me im interpreting this wrong) I read this as PL wants to stay, but he feels as though because results haven't picked up ME may want him to go.
I think that would be a terrible decsion, with PL in charge I have very little doubt that we will bounce back first time of asking, on the other hand if he goes I have very little confidence that we will do the same.
Bracing for a nervy few days now though...
Chambers: Ex-Players Should Be Fast-Tracked into Refereeing
Sorry Chambo, I absolutely love you, but I couldn't disagree more with this.
As a young referee myself, working at a fairly high level, I can tell you that this will not work. or solve any problems that people think that there is with refereeing. It is an extremely hard job, and being a player at a high level will not help you in anyway to referee at high levels.
Don't get me wrong, I'd advise retired players to take on refereeing, but the idea of them being 'fast tracked' is wrong. It would be unfair to all the referees who have worked for years to make their way up the ladder, only to be overtaken by a player because the apparently 'know the game better'. Knowing the game as a player, and knowing the game as a referee are two very different things...
Bishop Targeting New Town Deal
I would love nothing more then to see Teddy really kick on and earn a new contract in the scene half of the season. The thing with him now is he's not a kid anymore, he can't just be potential, he needs to show what he can do.
I want to see it, theres a very good player in Teddy if we can keep him fit. All the best lad!
