Calm yourself with the knowledge that they had us in the bottom half of the table in their preseason predictions - they are basically no more accurate than some random bloke on a football message board |

Re Morsy, that’s the second game in a row where we’ve been dominated in midfield for large parts of the game. Luongos lack of the pace to get away from tackles when he wins them has been really evident this week and meant we really didn’t get going until Taylor’s addition, which also helped Morsy. I really didn’t expect to see Luongo start today. |

Leeds didn’t have to at their place we were well out of it, and at PR they were 2 up and it there’d been 10 more minutes we would have got a leveller |

That Leicester have collapsed at the end in 3 of the last 4 seasons, 19/20 and 20/21 to see them drop out of the CL places, (4 points from 5 games in each) and 22/23 for what had looked like an unlikely relegation (5 points from 5 games). No wonder Leicester fans are nervous |

Yes me too Dub, IMO it was essential we got out of League One to maintain the momentum from everything that was happening with the club. Although I did believe we could challenge for back to back promotions, i never expected a season like this. |

Oh it did, with 7 to go we still had to negotiate those 2 tricky away games with Peterborough and Barnsley and we were still chasing Wednesday. |

I’ve stayed in hotels on the East side, between 42nd and 53rd and been pleased with the location for visiting the standard tourist sites, The Benjamin and The Kimberley were both reasonable when we stayed there, the latter has a trendy rooftop bar, and the subway stop is 100 yds away. Things to do, Bryant Park on 42nd, for morning coffee outside, next to the New York Library, which is a lovely building, then on to Grand Central Station, which is a must do. Staton Island Ferry, simply go across and straight back, it’s free and passes the Statue of Liberty and provides some wonderful views of lower Manhattan from the river. Then walk back north up Broadway, through to Wall Street, and then on to the Twin Towers memorial . Have lunch at The Boat House in Central Park, but make sure you book. Take your time ordering as they will try and rush you out. There’s a bar on 33rd across from the Empire State Building which is known for its football coverage, can’t remember the name - Legends.maybe. DM me if you feel the need, I had loads of help from TWTD the first time i went to NYC, happy to return the favour [Post edited 29 Mar 17:28]

Theres one certainty - it won’t be at 3.00pm on Saturday, that would mean no TV coverage. There’s a full Premier League programme that day, but as BT have the Saturday lunchtime slot, Sky might want the Championship then. |
