This was my take aswell regarding Ashton. But great to hear about the praise for the youngsters captain and manager etc. Thats what I care about. Really have alot of time for KOA, Blue Monday and Stat as some of these interviews have been excellent and flowed really quite well. Good to see KD too! |

Funny you should say that, yes. I'll never forget his performance in the 6-1 thrashing of Bristol City. The way bonne plays reminds me of him at this point in time. As you say the running and heading especially. |

I decided to go down the retro route. Havent had a game over yet but have come close haha. Probably should have done modern to start with. So easy to miss things though. Those flashback tapes look brutal. Yeah their work on spyro was awesome and Crash 4 is excellent. |

Absolute unit again today. Just wish his header went in in the second half. What a signing. |

What makes me laugh is half these people wouldn't have the balls to say it to the players faces. I dont know any of them, the guy the runs the channel seems a decent bloke but some need to wind it in a bit. In my mind theres nothing different to making those comments in a video about Norris I believe to the disgraceful stuff toto was sent yesterday. Their both human beings who deserve alot more respect than all this nonsense. Woolfy liked the tweet aswell I believe from Joe. We need to support the team, not pick holes in it. |

His favoured position is actually left wing. Where he played for peterborough. Theres a very good player there providing you set a team up to utilise ALL their strengths, which we havent for years. |

Garbutt has two free kicks this season to my knowledge and a deflected strike against burton on first game of the season. Best probably sears Villa Away last season? |

I havent but would highly recommend Romesh Ranganathan and James Acaster. Saw them both this month in Ipswich and were both very good. On stage for around 1 hour 45 aswell. |

Sammie szmodics was rumoured a while ago. Currently at Bristol city but previously at Colchester. Wages would probably be an issue I'd imagine. [Post edited 20 Dec 2019 23:09]

Woolfenden worth just as much as those 2 in my opinion and would be one I'd like us to keep hold of for as long as possible. If/when he is sold it should be for what Bristol City sold Webster for and nothing less. |

I think your spot on r.e Mings, cresswell and Wickham. But I'd like to point out at the time (if you would agree) that football players weren't being sold for the ridiculous money they go for now so were good fees. The last 3 years prices have sky rocketed for championship players, not to mention wages. Players such as Vydra, Bobby Reid, Murphy brothers, Maupay etc going for big money. Regarding Waghorn he was in the best form of his career, not even 30 and had a great season. 5m to me when other strikers are going for almost double seemed poor. But I put that down to hurst wanting funds for his own players quickly and not being stubborn enough for true worth. Deluded is a tad harsh. But I appreciate you're point. Not meaning to come across that way, but Maddison has proved that worth as I believe Downes would aswell. I remember Lamberts first game in charge against Preston I think it was, Downes was on every set piece, calm on the ball, eye for a pass and looked a completely different player. But for me currently hes our best asset. Skuse has been fantastic this season and I think Downes will fit into his role perfectly as the engine room of the team. The difference without him in the side is noticable but I dont see him leaving anytime soon. Just wanted to make the point that we shouldn't be mugs when it comes to our young players, espicially in todays transfer market. Also don't want to do a Luton (should we hopefully get promoted) and lose two of our stand out performers from league 1 like they did. However I'd like to think we would be in a better position financially. |

My issue is no matter who we sell we always take far less than what the player is worth. Look over recent years and see the fees we have recieved. In my opinion we were absolutely mugged off by Derby for Waghorn. With how the football market is these days we let a player go who was involved in the most goals that season (scored and assists) for 5m. The lot up the road recieved near enough 50m for Madison and the Murphy brothers. It is sickening how clubs think they can come in with low offers. I wouldn't accept 15m for Downes whether we are in this league or the Championship because with his potential he is worth the same as Maddison period. We need to start playing Hardball when it comes to fees. Credit to Evan's for blocking moves in the past but he must now see what players are going for these days and has every right to demand the same. Credit to the management/club for work with the academy because we have some absolute gems coming through. |

Agree with some but overall think some comments are a tad harsh. One of the brighter points of last season before injury and also scored against the scum. He Carrie's a goal threat but needs to be a bit braver imo when running at defenders. He has plenty of tricks up his sleeve so go for it. Seems to have scaled back his attacking prowess but I think that will come with confidence. Finally I think he could of done with an extra 2 or 3 weeks training before jumping back in at Peterborough. He seemed very desperate to jump back in quickly. If he came back in the same time as Nolan I think it would of suited both parties better. |

As long as its positive, emphasis on positive I think that it's good exposure for the club. I've seen this and Reuser's post on the matter. Both sides raise fair points. I just think it's good to see the passion and support back behind the club. 99.9% of the fan base can have its head held high since Lambert arrived. Weve played our part and then some. I would however like to make a point regarding Ipswich Fanzone. I dont know the bloke who does it. I've seen him around quite a bit and seems a decent bloke. I think the format and how the videos are put together is pretty damn good. Offers another insight to the game and I'll 9 times out of 10 check it out when it's up. Also like the 12th man videos which goes around local pubs and bars etc. However some of the lads that are regulars on there try a bit too hard to be funny to be fair. Just goes a bit OTT. Other than that; quality. |

Apologies if already posted but is there any footage yet of Lambert taking part in absolute scenes with limbs? Heard he got booked and was loving it but havent seen it. |
| Forum Reply | What happened at Peterborough station, after the match? at 11:12 18 Aug 2019
I was on the 5.34. Had no other choice but to leave at 5.20 because it was only 2 coaches and people kept piling on. Police and staff just didnt seem to have a clue. Supposed to be platform 6 as usual but went from 5. On the way up to Peterborough the guard informed the train that all services including the added 5.34 would stop at ALL usual stops. The station staff said the same thing on the platform. However this trains first stop was bury. Didnt even stop at Ely. Whole thing was a mess and because of one person pulling the cord as they wanted to get off earlier at March or Ely the whole journey took an extra 30 minutes as we kept slowing down. As a number have said it's disgusting how bad they organise these things for what they charge. They sell far too many tickets when they know theres not enough space. However still a class day out. Our fans were awesome. |
