| News Comment | Lambert Set to Be Confirmed on Saturday at 15:04:58
If he's half as good as a manager as he was a player, then we are very lucky. He was an absolutely smashing footballer. Welcome Paul. See you tomorrow. |
| News Comment | Town Rebuff Boro Murphy Bid Report at 12:46:10
£4.5 mill for a 32 year old who's previous best return was 11 goals in a season? We really should be selling here. I love Murph, but commercially, it is foolish to turn this down. |
| News Comment | Murphy Nominated for Championship Player of the Year at 14:06:36
Bamford won't win young player so can't really win player so really a two horse race. All are strikers so surely the one with the most goals wins? That said Deeney has been very good this year. |

Captain Spaulding AKA (JimmyJazz). I fear you are bang on my friend. |
| News Comment | Skuse Unsure Why Form Has Slipped at 09:56:58
I think it was s figure of speech. "I cried to myself". It's a bit different to balling his eyes out. Skuse is a vital member of our first team. We have a team and manager, for the first time in years, who care about the club and are doing all they can to bring us success. We should be showing them a bit more respect. |
| News Comment | McCarthy: Missed Chances and Poor Defending at 19:19:26
I don't know what to say? Not about the result, more about the idiots that post on here. I'm lost for words. We are having a wobble. Every team has one (Man City). Its about how we recover. We lost to Derby, which was nullified by the Forrest result. We lost Brighton and Rotherham - 2 games and its like the end of the World. FFS. Absolutely rediculious. People forget where we've come from in the last 6 years (or have no idea). We've been having the time of our recent lives. If you don't like it, jog on. We don't need you! Together. We are Ipswich. |
| News Comment | Hunt: Busy Summer Left Me Tired at 02:46:09
Joke? We signed him (no idea how much but I think he probably gets paid about £5k/week about £250k a year) and Hes tired because he opened a business. I really hope hes on pay as you play or he gives the cash to charity |
| News Comment | Crawley 1-0 Town (AET) at 08:27:56
Chill out lads. It is unfortunate for the fans that travelled but MM made no secret of the team he was playing. We don't have the squad to compete in 3 comps and the league is by far and away the only one that has any significance. 1. We were away 2. We were a scalp so they were going to up for it 3. We played a lot of youngsters to give them game time, match fitness and experience. 4. A mix mash of youngsters (some making profressional debuts) took a league 1 side to ET away in the cup The result of this is some lads now have a little more experience, players have a bit more match fitness, MM has had an opportunity to see what some other players can do. It is ALL about the league. We should remember this in Jan for the 3rd round of the cup. We saw what can happen when you take cup comps seriously with a thin squad (see UEFA cup run/relegation). Great memories but that is what has got us in this mess. |
| News Comment | McCarthy Confirms Richardson Signing at 01:24:29
I agree with bluelady. Unfortunately I don't think Smith is up to it. Never understood why we are playing Chambo at RB. Hewitt would have been a better bet IMO. That said, totally understand why we let him go out on loan. Vaseli must have something about him too, having played at United and City. Richardson, is a solid signing. |
| News Comment | Campbell Set to Leave QPR at 20:59:40
I love DJ as much as the next man, but this will be the last 'big' contract of his career. He'll, quite rightly, be looking for a 3 year deal. He'll be 34 by then and not sure he'll feature in what is looking like turning into a young, exciting team. He'll be 32 in the early stages of next season. I'm not saying I don't want him, but we don't need him this season, it's next that is more important now. Ironically, because he won us games when we needed it. In short, happy if we sign him, but if he goes for a 3 yr deal, rather than a 2 year deal that I think we should offer, then so be it........ |
| News Comment | Town 3-0 Millwall at 20:24:05
I LOVE ITFC. Live in London, all my mates are Palace, Fulham and Arsenal fans! Nuff stick off all of them but now I'm proud once more! Thank you Mick x |
| News Comment | Curbs Would Talk to Town at 11:59:41
The ONLY man for the job. You don't lose it just because you have been out the game for 4 years. It's not like he doesn't know anything about football, far more than most who post on here it would appear. It worries me no end that some of you would rather Burley, Butcher and Mills. I love them all dearly but really? Manager? I will support who ever gets it (apart from Megson) but Curbs is my choice. |
| News Comment | Jewell Won't Quit as Redknapp Speculation Grows at 18:48:22
Who played for Southampton under Redknapp? Danny Higginbottom. Coincidence? I have heard that ME asked Redknapp's opinion on all summer signings which is why some happened and some didn't. That way, if PJ got sacked Redknapp would be happy with all the new signings so it wouldn't be wasted money. Loach - another player Redknapp tried to sign at Spurs... Just saying. |

Delaney is off to Forest, therefore we need a DLC- simples . The glass is half full lads!! COYB |
| News Comment | Blues Look to Loach at 13:29:26
Tom Heaton is better than Loach, and he's free..... Loach is a poor keeper |
| News Comment | Blues Linked With Move for Watford Keeper Loach at 17:04:31
Mate at work is a Watford season ticket holder and thinks he's toilet..... You have to wonder why Watford (a team we should be aspire to be quite a lot better than) went for a keeper on loan when they had Loach. |
