The venue choice is absolute class from a global mega-star, too.
I went along to a good handful of Ed's early gigs. His mum used to make ceramic liquorice allsorts bracelets and sell them herself at the merch stand. I have that song on an EP in a card sleeve somewhere at home. When he signed for his first record label, he took a chair off the stage and performed this and a few other songs in the middle of crowd (a trick he's repeated a fair bit since I understand!).
If you showed my 17 year old self this video my head would have exploded. Surreal in the extreme to think where we've all come from. |

He travelled with the squad, saw him in one of the pre-match videos of them arriving.
Nothing too serious I guess, although it was mentioned by mas that 26 men travelled?! Who was it last season that said our entourage was like nothing they'd ever seen before? Spilling out into corridors etc.
Absolutely love that togetherness. |

Yep, although it's useful to have someone with Davis' threat as it keeps their defenders honest and pins them into position, theoretically creating more space elsewhere.
Hopefully we'll have Broadhead back for Tuesday - I could see him and Clarke linking up well actually if we were to go for it. |

I imagine Clarke will go in, but as he's still managing an injury himself that could get tricky over 180+ minutes if we're asking him to bomb up and down. Maybe Harness ahead of him to offer a bit more protection?
We had that lopsided system in League 1 for a while didn't we, where almost everything was funnelled down our right with Burns and Donacien. |

I thought it was the keeper's mistake initially, but Morsy needs to sweep it left. He feints to try and roll his man and it's the wrong option.
Both players have been superb for us this season, and we do know that in 99% of cases we get away and build an attack from there. |

Do we think it'll make any difference to the outcome of our game today? I don't know if I do, to be honest.
The preparation is already done, Rosenior's been stirring up the players and fans with cup final talk, last home game of the season. They won't want to go out with a whimper, no matter how remote their chances are.
Perhaps the atmosphere in the ground will be very different, but some are talking like Hull will just down tools... and all at the moral expense of WANTING Norwich to win. Euuuurgh. |

I'm just trying not to get my hopes up in all honesty.
Edit: hit post prematurely.
Not enough jeopardy for me to make it a truly huge night. If results don't go our way (and the odds suggest they are unlikely to do so) we're still in control.

I'm glad none of us are giving the team talks. I can imagine this turning up on the Pinkun later for being tinpot.

Thanks for the response.
We haven't been in great nick for a while now ourselves, with some uncharacteristic performances where we've looked very tired. We've had illness through the camp which hasn't helped, although KM has been reluctant to lean too heavily on it as an excuse it's been commented on in the media that it's effected us badly.
The championship season is relentless and it's no surprise to see the squads with the parachute millions at the top at this stage. Your cup run may have done us a huge favour in gifting us some rest at a vital point, but we've seen how things don't always click after a break. Hopefully we can upset the apple cart.
Disappointed from a personal point of view that our fixture was rearranged as I can't make the trip on Tuesday and was quite looking forward to it. Always next year (or hopefully not, as I'm sure you won't mind me saying!).
I'll keep an interested eye out for Ben Wilson - hopefully he doesn't stake his claim against us. We well know how a 2nd choice keeper can transform themselves into a POTS contender in a very short time, despite some obvious flaws. I imagine Christain Walton will be allowed into the market in the summer - he'd make a fine keeper for most Championship sides.

Fair enough, admittedly perhaps my use of "shambolic" was a bit sharp, but they were absolute stinkers. It wasn't meant as a jibe - probably frustrated as I would have liked to have seen them do better last night.
As you say, the poster has contributed how we'd hope all visiting fans would.

I'm not rubbing it in - I have absolutely no ill feelings towards Cov or the poster. If we made those errors Saturday night needing 3 points to keep our season alive you'd see the same here and much, much worse.
I was countering his/her point that Robbins would not lie or sugarcoat their position with injuries. I think every manager in the league would sugarcoat it off the back of what's just happened on the pitch, in order to protect their players.
Either you have an exceptionally low bar for disrespect or you're not taking the post in the spirit it was meant. |

I don't think anything I said was unreasonable. He's a manager protecting his players after two horrid mistakes in their biggest game of the season. I wasn't being inflammatory. |

Hmm. While it might be true, I'd be cautious as an Ipswich fan taking too much comfort in a manager covering a couple of shambolic mistakes in such a big game. There's an element of deflection here for sure. |
