Yes, not sure if Jim is ever cut out for club management. He wears his heart on his sleeve and is always likely to fall out with players who he thinks are not taking his words on board. But what is for sure is that he would have done a thousand times better than the succession of managers that Evans replaced him with.

Unlike Fergal not to embellish things a bit more.He should have gone with Mark from Venus.

It was also one of the first things Lambert did at Norwich.
|Maybe Lambert’s rotation policy will start to pay off?|

Agreed. It's all water under the bridge now. There's plenty of examples where keeping a settled side has given a good cup run which has also benefited league form. But the plus side of chopping & changing has been to gradually getting the likes of Huws and Keane up to speed.

How times have changed.
When I were a lad, fag butts littered the gutters and pavements everywhere. There was an old down and out in our part of town who used to walk up and down picking up butts and re-rolling the spent tobacco into a fag. Us lads called him Dog-End Dick.

Undisclosed fee. I doubt they paid much for him. He's been around a bit.
Sounds to me just like a cheap nod to their fans - a pretence that they are trying to avoid the unavoidable.
|Lamberts comments have, somewhat, taken the shine|

He must be a nightmare to interview. I've notice he's more conciliatory if we lose, but very aggressive when we win.His targets are everyone but the players - who have always been magnificent - even in a bad defeat.
He will usually contradict himself within a matter of moments, so much of what he says makes no sense whatsoever.
Difficult to work out. Is it a Glasgow thing? SAF could apparently start an argument in an empty room.
He really needs to get that monkey off his back.
