Pinkun twitter feed says Birmingham enquired about loaning him but we’re told by narwich that he wasn’t going out on loan this season. |

Lambert has said in his pressers that Evans seems to be around the club more at the moment. II think Lambert has also said about “taking your eye off the ball” which I think is him alluding to the fact that Evans wasn’t around the club enough to see what was going on when Hurst and possibly MM were in charge and maybe left it to others at the club who probably told him what he wanted to hear rather than seeing the truth with his own eyes. The academy seems to be in a good state with Klug at the helm but even Hurst said that he wanted to make changes that was deeper and wider than he was allowed to which could suggest there were problems when MM was in charge. Clearly at first team level is where the problems are whether it be coaching, scouting, and signing of players. This summer, player recruitment was poor, ill informed. Was it entirely Hurst’s fault, did ME and his cronies do enough due diligence, what was Dave Bowman involvement as Director of Football in this as he is supposed to be head of scouting? |

MM on Sky with kammy and Ben and is asking what’s happened to Barry Cotter? Gave him his first team debut and hasn’t been seen since. MM still going on about the fact every club he’s managed has been relegated the season after he left!! |

Out of favour at Cardiff, Peterborough have agreed to re sign him on Jan 1st. Good signing for them, sort of player PL should be looking to bring in. |

Charlie Adam and Paul Lambert don’t get on as Adam criticised Lambert about playing Shaqiri as Adam thought he was a lazy player and was partly responsible for stokes relegation. Lambert hit back saying if Adam hadn’t missed a penalty during one game they would have won and would have had enough points to stay up. I do think we need experience pros to get out our this mess though and that’s gonna cost big wages but Evans has to weigh that up against cost of relegation |

Cancel Donaciens loan if his work permit isn’t granted before start of January
Cancel Tayo Edun’s loan
Pay up Adeyemi’ contract if he is not fit before January
Sell Knudsen if he won’t sign new contract in January
Graham’s loan ending as he’s going to Oxford so that’s already sorted
Bring back Wolfenden and consider sending Pennington back to Everton
That gives Lambert the opportunity to sign 3 to 4 new loan players in January. I think Evans knows Lambert needs to sign some quality experienced players from the premier league or championship where they aren’t playing for their first team, people in the mould of Walters for example. I did think Charlie Adam would be a good loan signing but he criticised Lambert for being too easy on Shakiri when he was Stoke manager so they ended up being relegated and Lambert criticised Adam for missing a penalty in one game which would have secured their survival in Prem League.
I do believe Lambert will lead Town to safety but in the summer he has to clear dead wood and add some quality particularly up front but if Town due go down I think Lambert should stay as I think he could’ve get Town promoted the following season and that would give youngsters a chance to develop

I think Chris Harris of top gear fame had an Audi s4 estate admittedly with a lot more miles than your car but his gearbox developed a clunking sound shifting manually from first to second gear. In the end a new gearbox was fitted |
