I'm genuinely not as bothered as the conversation suggests - just found it a bit unedifying. It's just a debate of different opinions - and I personally would rather he wasn't front and centre. |

Yeah, your last paragraph there is a far more articulate version of what my frustration was. I'm not saying he offers zero benefit, clearly extra income from a big fight would be a bonus. I'd have ranked him below some of the ITFC Community staff/volunteers, the non-playing staff, owners, Jason Schechterle - amongst others.
Norwich away where he was milking the attention and then giving it to the family stand, the on pitch trophy celebrations/photos and then this - it's a combination of things. For me, can't really stand him - but I'd not moan about it if he wasn't everywhere at the moment!
Happy enough for the club to support/promote him - but maybe let the players take the limelight for this wonderful achievement rather than trying to milk it for all it's worth. |

Good for them, after last year it's hardly a surprise. If people are going to flout the rules then I'm fine with a bit of extra revenue generation, hopefully boosts the pothole fund! |
