WQe were poor in the second half but the ref missed a clear penalty - perhaps he wanted a lift home on the Maidstone bus?
Broadhed showed that he wasn't a center forward, in fact for some time now he couldnt hit a barn door from 5 yards perhaps we clould use him in part exchange for a striker |

Probably a fair result. I still feel that Wolfenden is not good enough, he slows play down when we need to be pushng forward and often plays his colleques into trouble.

I think that we were lucky to win today. Our defence was very poor in the second half. Luke Woolfendon's distributionwas awfull this close passing in your own penealty area ofted playing your collegue into trouble needs sorting out.
We lost the bal so often in our own penalty area - a decent team would have murdered us.

Our worst display since the manager took over. We were well beteen. Our midfield was particularly out played and non of our forwards had a shot on target.
The problem is all the teams we shall be playing in the neaar future will have seen this and copy it ! |

We were very lucky to get a point. We simply didn't know how to handle long balls into our rear area. We wone every header BUT the ball always went to a Hddersfield player. It took until the second half for the team started to play the ball on the ground. A packed defence and a brilliant goal keeper nearly won the game.

We keep hearing how good our squad is BUT in true only Morsy Walton are championship quality.
Donacien has stopped playing with Burns, 90% of his passes are backwards or sideways. Humphreys is toweak and like Harness he gives the ball away to often.
Bluntly we are unlikely to reach the playoffs and if we do we are unlikely to win.

The moment Chaplin picked up the ball I was sure we wwould miss the penalty. He is hopeless taking penaltys two missed and one lucky one!
I was disappointed withWoofenden he seems to have lost his dominance in the air but I don't see Keogh as a replacement.

Happily we have sorted our left back probvlem. Harry Clarke seems to be worth his transfer fee. Freddy's second goal was almost the best of the season son far and Burns link up play with Chaplin was a joy to watch. I expect Morecombe came to 'park thier bus' and hope for at least a draw. Freddy's first goal stopped all of that!
IF they can keep up this quality for the rest of the season there is hope for automatic promotion |

A draw was probably a fair result BUT I thought our manager gave it away with hiss late changes which spoiled our rytham - this has happened inseveral games where our oponments scored late goals.
I am also concerned about our right back position Earlier in the season Janoi Donacien was linking up briliantly with Wes Burns. Thiss doesn't happen now L.D. seems to preefer to pass backor infield and he doesn't make forward runs. Atleast Kane V.Y tried to against Plymouth |
