Also shows great dedication to get it done ASAP. Not that I begrudge Al-Hamadi a holiday and there may be other reasons for delaying surgery, but it's interesting that his adductor operation won't get done until after he gets back. |

I agree, but I don't think this is just an ITFC issue. When I'm at Wembley for an England match I can't get a signal - and the stadium is sponsored by EE! |
| Forum Thread | SBR Stand - Iconic Moments at 06:49 14 May 2024
Given our phenomenal success over the past two seasons, surely it's time to update some of the iconic moments on the SBR stand. I know Macauley Bonne's 'he's behind you' moment is quite memorable, but we drew what turned out to be a meaningless League One match. IMO this has to be replaced by Sarmiento's winner against Soton. Any others that should be replaced? |

Replace the marquee in the fanzone. It's very practical in the winter, but is worn and screams of non-league. I imagine at some point the club will want to put a permanent structure in, but in the meantime it can't cost more than £5-£10k to replace it. |
| Forum Reply | Kieran McKenna shown on MNF just now… at 05:37 14 May 2024
Obviously KMc coached at Man Utd, but I doubt he watched much PL football in the last 2.5 years. He's probably using the last 2 weeks of the PL season to do some analysis. |

Does anyone know why we didn't replace the seats in the old U3 block in Cobbold lower? I know it's not a massive area, but every little helps... |
| Forum Reply | Away fans at Portman Rd at 13:47 13 May 2024
Mark Ashton said he will shortly be communicating to supporters about this. We need to find a home for an extra 1,000 away supporters. S block is probably only another 400 or so. I doubt the club will want to use E block for away fans, as these are prime seats and we can only charge away fans £30 next season. |
| Forum Reply | I wonder if there is any prospect of safe standing in at 15:24 12 May 2024
I might be wrong, but I thought Mark Ashton ruled out safe standing at one of the fans forums as we had to offer the same in the away end. And the Cobbold Stand is suitable. I guess this may change depending on where we put the away fans next season. We'll want this to be in the cheap seats, as can only charge away fans £30 in the PL. |

Not a goal, but who knows how it affected the result. I don't think Southampton's red card would have been a sending off. |
| Forum Reply | VAR at 12:56 12 May 2024
IMO your question is the biggest problem with VAR. Clear and obvious errors being overruled is a good thing. But once they have to draw lines, for me it's not offside. Give the advantage to the attacker like the old days. I suspect quite a few of our goals this season, for and against, would have been ruled out. But other than Preston away when the ref apologised, I doubt many were clear and obvious errors. |

And this is why fans get disillusioned with the PL. I love our current squad and as much as I want to be successful so accept we need to invest, I don't want mercenaries playing for Ipswich. |
| Forum Reply | So who could start on negative points? at 10:23 12 May 2024
My understanding from listening to Kieran Maguire, is that PL clubs would need to vote in favour of a financial penalty. And surely no clubs outside the big six/seven would for the reasons you've said. Also the big clubs would then fail UEFA's rules, so wouldn't be eligible to play in the Champions League/Europa League. It's complicated! |
| Forum Thread | So who could start on negative points? at 09:36 12 May 2024
We already know that Leicester could start next season on negative points. But who else? If Everton go into administration, I guess they will do it ASAP so they can take the hit this season. Obviously Man City are facing these 115 charges, but unless they are relegated will probably still win the league even with a points deduction. If L*eds are promoted, I think they could be facing a points deduction for outstanding payments of £190m. And Chelsea could be in trouble if they don't sell players before 30th June. Is anyone else walking an FFP tightrope? |
| Forum Reply | All 92 of our goals here… at 07:58 12 May 2024
Brilliant. I was hoping the club would put something like this on TownTV. Maybe they still will once the media team have finished their well earned celebrations. |
| Forum Reply | Remember last season against Burnley? at 07:54 12 May 2024
Completely agree. We need to follow KMc and keep our humility. Some fans are clearly looking at the table and thinking it's only Brighton, Bournemouth, Brentford etc. Those fans only need to take a look at their squads and count the number of international players, to realise what a massive challenge it will be next season. |
| Forum Reply | Home Ticket Priority at 09:40 11 May 2024
I expect the club will limit the number of times you can use the resale site, to stop people retaining season tickets and not attending matches. Something along the lines of, you can only miss 3 league matches and/or put 3 tickets up for resale, otherwise can't renew the following season. |
