In my opinion, win one of these two away games and we'll go into Huddersfield needing a win to go up. |

We're tired. Davis has lost half a yard, Hutchinson shouldn't have the expectation on his shoulders that he has got and we're desperately missing the Burns and Chaplin dynamic... Hirst too. Broadhead was better tonight but still goes missing. Not sure Chaplin has much involvement at all as an 'impact sub'. Watford are much improved; we have to hope a long trip to Suffolk after a tough game at Hull is too much for the 'Boro players. As you were. |

Yes I have, lovely little brewery, there was plenty of the session beers offered for tasters too. Recommended, if you find yourself in Stoke... there's not much else to do! Wincle, Weetwood and Red Willow are Cheshire offerings and all do some tasty stuff. |

So 2,100 on sale to fans... Not making general sale either way, I'm afraid. |

It was noticeably quiet in the away end, and I don't remember Norwich ever making as much noise as they did, with that annoying drum. We never did anything on the pitch to shut them up but that doesn't excuse how quiet we were. Initially, I thought it was probably nerves, because it was raucous enough on the concourse before the game, but we were half decent in the first ten minutes which would normally increase the volume. Regular attendence at away games is the only thing that qualifies you to make that assertion though, so I assume you do regularly attend. I'd be interested to know which other away games this season, or last, you have also thought the Town fans were quiet during? |

Obviously not tears. Strange thing to say really, why go out of your way to make a mountain out of a molehill? |

It's interesting that you say that. I find that this board goes slightly flat too, just after you post something. |

Unusually, I didn't go tonight. It's nice that this sort of argument comes up. Anybody who went tonight, and didn't choose to watch it in their armchair like me, will be able to report back on whose decision it was to pass the penalty to Al Hamadi and how those involved reacted. We didn't see the details on Sky, so unless you were there, you can't say either way. |

Indirect free kick in the box isn't it, from a back pass, if that's the incident you're on about? |

Didn't rate him much on the day but the referee got that one right. No contact. |
| Forum Reply | The absolute state of some people on here today and tonight. at 01:23 28 Jan 2024
It was just meant to be Maidstone's day for some reason. Watch it back in slow motion, and you'll see that when the guy that scores their second goal shoots, he accidentally kicks it with his standing foot first, which takes it into the path for his other foot to connect sweetly with it. You can see McKenna was seething under the surface in his interviews after the game and I'm sure today has confirmed some things for him about certain players and things he's been tinkering with. Utterly embarrassing but probably done us a favour in the promotion race. |

Has anyone on here ever been selected for a random check and had to pick their ticket(s) up from the away ground on the day of the match? |
| Forum Reply | Leeds really are tossers with this pricing strategy at 22:57 11 Jan 2024
Sounds like you're having a pop at fans for buying a ticket for Leeds because it was more expensive than usual. Personally, I'd have still gone, even if it was double what I paid, and I won't be alone in that. Doesn't it feel hypocritical to be pushing forwards for Premier League football encouraging the financial investment that it would take to sustain that, whilst also with the other hand pushing back against any of that cost being levied against us? |
