I Heard that Sam was told his current deal wouldn't be extended, went to west ham and Leicester for trial games, Ipswich then said we haven't made our finally decision yet, so was asked to rush back and play for our under 21's again this was after Town heard that west ham had offered him 18 month pro-deal. No compensation as was allowed to terminate current deal early. Shame, decent lad with right attitude and knows how to run with the ball at his feet and take people on.... Good luck Sam |

cant believe some of the comments made on here, when are people going to get up to date with the modern situation regards football, so many hark back to 15-20+ years ago about how we use to do this and that, facts are all clubs have to be ruthless in the ways they progress with youths, even in saying that like to know the % of players who come thru to those who get disposed of over the years now and back then, i bet its no higher then 2%..
ok so im a female supporter who you may think doesn't understand football, but football has been in my family for over 60 years with some family and relations who have been lucky to play professionally...
these lads might be decent enough at that level (Youth) but haven't got potential to step up, so move them on now and give them a chance to sort out their lives elsewhere....
move on, some of you get over it and lets support all the coaches and staff |

I'll think you will find that the PDC has been taken on by the academy and the "ITFC Charitable trust" has been more or less completely isolated by ITFC Football club. i heard that long term coaching staff had recently been laid off and the up take of the summer schools and weekly hourly coaching sessions that he Charitable trust ran/offered has been poor.
with ITFC going for cat 1 status they had to encompass the PDC... Is what i believe has happened. Its not just the Children who have been let down, i hear a lot of the coaches have too. |

i knew ticket sales were down and less demand but to cut 12 jobs and leave only 2 seems a touch drastic.. i can see a lot of unhappy people having long waits in ques.... |

bluey123, you have very limited knowledge of football and football management. you say 4 months to get players in, alot of players contracts end in june, most players go away for holidays and there agenst go away as well no doubt, it was european championships this year so alot of managers/agents/players would of been watching/attending that.
Clubs dont wait for summer or end of season to get players, they are all ways looking and working at what they need and what they can get and who they can afford etc. and of course PJ may well have a list but its ME who has to fund that list or question that list and even speak to that player.
why dont you just back the club and its current set up and be positive, its so called fans like you that give other club fans the fuel to mock this great club. |
