Friday, 15th Jul 2011 13:29

Northern Irish U19 international midfielder Cormac Burke has confirmed that he has signed his one-year professional deal with the club. The 17-year-old joined the academy full-time last summer.

The Derry-born player revealed the news in a tweet: “Just signed my professional contract, feels good.”

Burke, who turns 18 next month, and US U20 keeper Cody Cropper will both be pros this season while they finish their scholarships as they are a year older than other second years. Cropper is understood to have already agreed his one-year deal.
