Lambert has slightly hinted hope of more additions....
at 14:34 21 Aug 2019

With his “we’ll see if there’s more comment”.... LB cover do we think?
Felt sorry for El Miz last night...
at 06:37 21 Aug 2019

I know we had to change it, but thought he was our most forward thinking creative player in the first half last night.... I’d have taken Dozzell off, other than the 1 obvious pass to Nors, thought he was average... or am I being too harsh?

My summary yesterday first team “newbie” performances.
at 09:28 4 Aug 2019

Holy had a few iffy “punch” moments but generally vocal commanding, kicking confidence and general distribution is good, will improve and will be a good Bart replacement.
Donacian for me looked the weak link at the start, he didn’t get up to speed with the game quick enough, and put our area at risk several times, loses the ball under his feet LOTS, having said that also put in some good tackles as the game went on, Jury is out for me, this is a position I’d like to see another signing for.
Woolfy was great, didn’t put a foot wrong and in my book will be a shame to lose his place when Toto is fit.
Wilson did ok, kind of absent at times and not a leader of any kind, Chambo will take his place next week.
Garbutt did enough - good display, got a bit lucky with the goal but was on the end of a brilliant move and looks like he will shoot given any half chance.
Lord Nors, bloke is pain in the arse for defenders, his link up play is fantastic, he get lots of goals (and lots of yellow cards) this season due to his passion - we’ve sorely missed a player like this, live him already.
Huws - this will be the key to us having a great season, still looks a cut above, looked great for the short time he came on.
Rowe was involved from the off, looks for the ball, looks to get forward AND tracks back to help his full back, should be choice over Roberts. I was well impressed.

All that said, the “regular” last year was MotM.... Downes. Nothing wrong with this kid, was everywhere blocking tackling, distributes well and keeps it flowing.
Our midfield is rich with quality when everyone is fit, think we will see a couple out on loan I reckon, and possibly a Dozzell sale.

Lambert has played a masterstroke.....

Today’s pressa he basically has laid any blame of potential failure this season will be with ME.

I identified what we needed to have a chance, they aren’t here.
We don’t have enough as it stands.
The one thing I wouldn’t change is the fans.
ME will be fuming at this side to his PR, but can’t have it bother ways. Yeah PL has had a dig, but he really needs to show us more that he’s a great manager of what he has now. (Which he hasn’t so far)
If we do well he’s a genius, fans will adore him.
If we do badly the fans will say, ME fault as PL‘s hands were tied.

He’s good, basically covered himself for any outcome this season.

Me personally, get these injuries back - we’ll do just fine.

What’s the hold up on Bart’s transfer?
at 14:46 22 Jun 2019

Phil - fixtures doc.
at 09:56 20 Jun 2019

Last season there was a CAL file created to add the fixtures automatically to phone calendars, can’t remember if it was on the official site of on here?

Any ideas?
Norwood isn’t ITFC’s striking saviour?
at 00:10 29 May 2019

He won’t be coming. Been too drawn out.

Thinking of possible targets.. Does anybody else think there is any “surplus” Championship strikers that would score 30+ goals in league 2... I’m sure there’s a few.
Phil - any idea on when the club are likely to announce....

Who’s left the club?
So we are building a team around....
at 09:49 28 Apr 2019

The experience in our squad, but it’s more often than not that it’s the experience that’s our weakest points in the team.
Let’s be honest - Chambo is ITFC through and through, but he’s really struggled to perform ON the pitch this season, perhaps he’s getting tired, was well off the pace yesterday, and possibly wants his holiday break now.
Skuse for me shouldn’t be in the team going forward, good back up, but that’s it - that position should be Downes’ now.
I’m excited about the likes of Bishop and Lankaster nest season, with Judge a little more settled, they could form something good, possibly with Huws?
Other than waiting to see how Woolfenden does, I’m really fearful of the whole back line and the obvious tactic to play 1 up front because the only real quality we have in the squad is midfield players, so it gets 5 positions.

I’m wondering if Bart is off, if so, can’t blame him.. it’s not looking good as yet for next season.
I hope we make some REALLY astute signings, cause we are going to need them, even in League 1.
