Saturday is massive for us. If we win and Wednesday don't, we could be up by Tuesday night. Or just a win for us means we can afford to lose at Barnsley and promotion would still be in our hands.
Also, if we win on Saturday and Barnsley lose, their automatic hopes would be over and they'd have no incentive to beat us on Tuesday. I'm sure they'd rather not drag us into the play-offs with them and they certainly wouldn't want to be responsible for Wednesday getting into the top two.
So for me, Plymouth are already up and we'll join them if we beat Peterborough. I honestly don't care whether it's in first or second place. Plymouth would be worthy champions for their consistency and resilience throughout the season. The title for us would be the icing on the cake, but it's the cake that counts! |
