"Always a seven. Sometimes an eight, but never a nine or ten, heh heh!" Also talking old school nonsense about yellow/red cards. Colin hasn't watched us much since he's been captaining Towen :) |

Luton looked completely cooked against the Bees. Shocking defence and really feeble body language. A shame for their fans cos they have looked up for the fight generally this season, even when falling short. |

Kind of very English in its anachronistic eccentricity. The Participants indeed. It’s vaguely well run I guess. Town are back where they should be. Shame on MEG for the fifteen plus years malaise. |

Shame it doesn't begin a few seconds before. |

The booing was for the handful of fans who dillydallied getting back off the pitch, taking videos of themselves, and was annoyance at players lap of honour delay. Saying that, this is Suffolk so of course there would have been some moaning at anyone having fun oer breaking some rules anyway :) But I don't remember a cacophony of disapproval from the outset. For the record, I fooked off anyway long before the players came back out. The pub beckoned. I'm not that into laps of honour tbh, the quid pro quo is signed, sealed and delivered every game, during which I support the team through thick and thin, following the Towen up or dowen. And before Machers turns up, no, I didn't stick around applauding Lambert and our sorry bunch at the end of THAT season either ffs. |

Loftus Rd and Selhurst Park are the two stadiums I've been to most after Portman Rd, in the home end, with suppliers/family/friends/etc with season tickets. So I've basically ended up supporting both clubs on numerous occasions over the last 40 odd years. Next most visited in home section would be Stamford Bridge, which is another great ground but shame about the fans (both new and old), many of whom are good friends/work associates :) |
