Admittingly we had no recognised striker in the team, but enough of the players who were there were surely capable of putting the ball in the net from less than 6 yards.

Like Derby on Wednesday, a very enjoyable game. Lets stick with the youngsters for the rest of the season. Best football seem at PR for a very long while. Wednesday night and this afternoons games felt like wins. I don't think anyone who witnessed both games can say they watched a bottom of the league team. We held two very good sides to draws, and almost took a win from both.
If only we could have the old Bart back from 2016/17 season.

Why can't we play the whole 90mins like we did the 2nd half. Bersant should start all games if he's fit, he gives so much confidence to the rest of the players. We've proved we can play the ball on the ground 2nd half, instead of Hoof Ball, we don't have any target men to be doing that. Give the supporters something to cheer and the crowd will get behind the players just like they did 2nd half. |

Surely after 10mins the players should have recognised that hoof ball was never going to produce anything this afternoon, and could have been a bit more creative and tried, at least, to play the ball through the field. We just seem be void of any ideas when the game doesn't go the way as we thought it would. The ref was as dire as I've seen at PR for a very long time. You would never believe 1 player missing (Murph) would have such an impact. Can you imagine the score line had Wigan been up against Bournemouth or Boro the way they played against us today. |

Agree with all the above comments, an honest refection of the game. I've been going to watch the town for the last 15 years on and off, and finally bit the bullet and purchased a season ticket last year and renewed for this season. Saturday was the loudest I've experienced from the supporters, why are town fans so quite? lets hope the bloke with the drum turns up on Tuesday does his magic and whips the crowd into the frenzy again. it really does have an impact on the players .
