Opinions on the Col U game?
at 10:37 9 Nov 2021

I think we will play quite a few youngsters against your guys tonight, very few fans or clubs give a monkeys about this competition really. Last I heard we had sold around 300 tickets for this game so that shows how little interest there is down here.

Reality check!!!
at 10:10 28 Jul 2021

Yes friendlies mean nothing really, both teams had players missing who would be considered likely 1st team members, we had at least 6 players missing mainly due to covid pings including Shamal George our likely 1st team keeper, I think Gerken is sadly showing his age and injuries have reduced his ability. I think George might well have saved your first and third goal, but who knows, we got lucky with our 3rd although it was a great finish from Judge. Others who were missing included Poku, and Hannant who are certainly 1st team/squad players. I never go to friendlies but from what I hear it was a decent game, hopefully the start of decent seasons for us both.

Hi folks. I am not the seller or anything to do with its sale, but I thought some of you might find this interesting, but a bit pricey!

I think it is £12 for all adults, not that there will be many from Col U there, I heard we had sold about 700 tickets.

It should be fine Simon but make sure you prebook on MiPermit as it is not cash on the night.

At least the park and ride is straight onto the A12, but can get busy after the game to get back onto the road. Rapid is probably more suitable for fans wishing to come back into Colchester rather than heading up the A12 to Ipswich etc, although having said that, its not far away from Ipswich Road that leads onto the A12.

It will be totally dead from a Colchester perspective, very few fans give a monkeys if we get anywhere in this competition. If it was a league game or a proper cup match it would be a very different story, but we don't see this as even our biggest match for the last 10 days

I am not on the gate but it is fairly obvious as you come round the roundabout as Rapid is there on its own not surrounded by any other buildings. I am just helping out anyone who is unfamiliar with the stadium area, I know what it is like to go to an away game and struggle to park.

Hi folks. I don't think many of us Colchester fans are going tonight so the crowd will be about 75% you lot! If you are looking for somewhere cheap to park and don't mind a 15 minute or so walk, try parking at Rapid Electronics, it is only £2 per car. It is situated right at the bottom of Axial Way on Severalls lane postcode CO4 5JS, you pay as you enter.

ANYONE KNOW OF GOOD PARKING 4 COLCHESTER GAME???
at 08:50 12 Nov 2019

Never used it myself as I live on the other side of town and park elsewhere for home games, but lots of Colchester and away fans go to the park and ride. Beware you have to prepay to use this area now, you can't just turn up and pay, just go onto the MiPermit site and select Colchester park and ride, the cost is £3 per car even if it has 5 people in it, because of course you are only paying to park and not using the bus.

Yes the academy has a lot of cash spent on it, the jury is out if it is worth it or not but we shall see! The under 18's play reading tonight in the F A youth cup , if they win this game they will be home to Arsenal. We are the smallest club left in the competition so losing tonight will be no disgrace.
