Murphy Interesting Hull
at 13:13:04

Good afternoon Gentlemen, Tis I of the Bullardine Era!! :-)

I can 100% reassure you this is a Pile of Pap!

We spunked £38m last Summer on players and apart from the odd loan and the "Emergency Fund" that is well and truly it.

Thing is Murphy aint good enough for the Prem (we had a sniff at him in 2009 and decided that), he's currently doing great for you and therefore will be valued, and finally if we do spend anything this window it will be on N'Doye and/or Lennon.

So Pannick Ye Not. Good luck in the second half. Thick Mick (no offence) is a cracking manager and with what he's done so far with so little, I hope he gets you up!

Understandable to have been suckered in by this moron, we were as well!

Hopefully nobody will waste their cash on someone like this who does nothing but bring our National Game into disrepute!

Corrigan Departs Hull in Wake of Bullard Contract Termination

I didn't say I didn't like a bit of banter now and again. Sonko comments were exactly that!! It's only harmless fun, you know!!

As for Bullard, that is a different matter and you're right I am bitter. But I'm not bitter Jimmy Bullard has joined you and is no longer our player. I'm bitter that Bullard is still taking the piss out of our club (as happened after he was offered a fresh start with us in the Summer) after two and a half years of taking us for £45k a week whilst on the treatment table and us getting relegated. Yes, he was entitled, given his contract, but that still doesn't make it right.

Corrigan Departs Hull in Wake of Bullard Contract Termination

Actually, I monitor the NewsNow portal for Hull City and this News article popped up.

Also he may well be an ex-player but he is still likely to try and sue my club for wrongful dismissal. So, this is relevant.

I understand he is your player now, and I appreciate the "hero"status you give him, but you should also know what the guy is REALLY like. Ask yourselves this if your club had Marlon King playing for you, a convicted woman beater, would you hero worship him?

This transcends Club rivalry and banter. I am not here as a troll or even having a laff with banter. This about the awful stuff Bullard is guilty of.

Not necessarily a brave man, just a drunk man.

If I were you lot I would be interested. It will illustrate the kind of human waste you have chosen to regard as hero material.

Bullard\'s Hull Contract Terminated

We still hold his registration with the football league. He has been given one months notice of the termination therefore if we want we can keep his registration beyond the close of the window. That way he cannot play for anyone else before the opening of the next window.

Toepunt

With the amount of money involved the owners have now been discussing matters with solicitors for 4 weeks. I doubt they have done that for fun and that they have plausible cause to take this action.

There are loads of rumours around as to what happened in Slovenia, but the truth is nobody but the management and those involved know the truth of what happened.

Here's the truth. We want rid of Jimmy Bullard. The last regime game him a ridiculous contract and he is more than happy to sit on it. What has happened here is that JB's natural behaviour has resulted in him gifting us plausible cause to terminate his contract, something we have wanted for a long while because there are many things the owners can think of spending £5m ayear on. Thanks Jimmy.

THAT HAS ABSOLUTELY NO BEARING ON THE LEGAL QUESTION OF WHATEVER IT IS HAS CONSTITUTED HIS GROSS MISCONDUCT.

If your behaviour is classed as gross misconduct, that is what it is. It doesn't depend on whether you want rid of that person because he costs you so much. That has no bearing. The only way JB can disprove this is if he can produce evidence of other past players at HCFC, under the current ownership, behaving in a similar way and not being sacked. That he cannot prove as there simply haven't been any.

Do you think we are sacking him on the grounds that he was awarded a ridiculous contract?

No, he is being sacked for gross misconduct.

Nothing has changed for you guys. You still have to find some of the £45k he was on at the KC. If you think £20k will get him, dream on.

Must say we are all glad to see the back of him but I doubt it is over for us, but at least he is no longer part of the Club. Now it's a legal matter between Bullard and the owners and I hope we now move on and sue him for damages.

I know you all love him to bits, BUT BE WARNED, he aint the hero a lot of you think he is. We were warned by the Fulham fans and ignored it. Don't make the same mistake and give this guy a wide berth.

Bullard Situation Still Unresolved
at 16:22:42

When are you guys going to get it straight about us and Bullard regarding money. There is no panic at this end about his salary. The owners have already written off the money and it plays no part in our budget. The fact of the matter is that he has been a very poor player for us in terms of cost. He is one hard challenge away from his career end and he is quite happy to sit on his salary with this "It's not about the money" rubbish, exactly that.
He doesn't give two hoots about Ipswich Town just like he doesn't about Hull City. All he cares about is playing footie and pocketing his £45k a week.
I don't know what he has done in Slovenia but you can bet your bottom dollar it will be disrespectful to the management in one form or another. As for sacking him, well that would be great for us but I would be surprised if we try and I would be amazed, if we did try, if it worked; there is virtually no judicial precedent for the lawyers to work with.
Even if it did succeed, I think your chances of getting him would be minimal. QPR would surely be first in the queue. They have already offered £25k a week loan which we have turned down because, again, we are not prepared to loan him out to anyone (and especially not a rival), on subsidised terms. If a Prem side offered £35k then I think we would deal, but there would be not buy back and no club will risk that.

I've never understood your hero worship of him, especially after his revealing comments about Norwich when they came sniffing. My advice would be to forget about him just as we are trying to do. He isn't hero material, clown maybe, but definitely not hero.

Warnock Confirms Bullard Interest
at 19:22:33

Just to bring yo chaps upto date, Adam Pearson has just done a big interview on local radio. It looks like Bullard is going to be accepted back into the fold for the rest of his contract. The owners were serious when they said the were NOT going to subsidise his salary at another club, as they have just turned down an offer of a part-paid loan with QPR.

Apparently you are completely out of the picture too on financial grounds (no surprise there given his ridiculous contract).

The vast majority of clubs in the Championship are trying to do something about the ridiculous wage situation, us included even though we have Bullard which we can do little about. Leicester, West Ham and Brighton (ironically with their appauling financial records) are bucking the trend and spending like they have a bottomless pitt of money.
