Pezzoni Back in Germany and Waiting on Town Decision
Monday, 17th Sep 2012 15:15

Trialist Kevin Pezzoni is back in Germany and is still to hear Town’s decision on whether he will be offered a contract at Portman Road.

The ex-FC Köln man was with the Blues between Tuesday and Thursday last week as he looks for a new side having been hounded out of his previous club by violent fans.

A source close to the player says the former Germany U21 international is yet to learn whether he did enough to impress Blues manager Paul Jewell and his staff: “He is waiting to hear a decision from the club.”

Jewell wouldn’t comment one way or the other regarding the free agent after Saturday’s 2-0 defeat at Middlesbrough, saying he would speak about the situation later in the week with his pre-match press conference ahead of the Wolves game on Tuesday.

I haven't seen him play, but 90 games in Bundesliga at only 23 tells me he can't be all sh*te...

Sometimes you have to take a chance on a youngish player and mould him into the player that you want him to be. It's called coaching.

I hope he didn't try too hard like the boy Taylor or else he'll have no chance. He should have not tried and he might get in..... I think.

How can anyone seriously give H32 negative comments for his post on the first page!?
Whoever those people were are fools!!

Now, just when you need Jewell to panic buy, he can't make a descision.

Keanish, remember you're not allowed to voice your concern about the current state of the club. Apparently it's negative and we should just accept what's being served up to us!

HaHa! I even picked up a -2 for that! Must be half of the anti-H32 post!

I can't make this club out they know we need defenders and if they are no good then why do we give them a trial in the first place. Jewell and co must no how good he is before he comes here.
I know it is what a trial is to see how good they are but it is with every centre back we have, it's getting rather stupid now. Sort it out jewell and clegg we are a laughing stock!!

I understand now why they tried to keep his trial a secret after reading most of these posts.

Keanish and Buryblue77... difference of opinion is natural, debate and disagreement is normal and all these things i welcome , what is not ok is referring to others as half wits, fools and insane for getting behind the club, there are those who think everything is perfect at the club and there are those who think the club is totally screwed up, neither belief is true imo, look at portsmouth or rangers they are screwed up and there are of course success stories, for instance like it or not the scum are a such story, we cannot be compared to either, we are an average second tier side, and no i dont like it and i am not happy with where we are. I prefer still to play the patience game,(wearing thin at times) and i am entitled to think that way. the extremists of both camps are also entitled to there views without being referred to as idiots for supporting the club.....

Back to the story, never heard of him or seen him play, so cant say either way, but dont want players in just because they seem to fit from where we are sitting......COYB

Hear Hear Dissboy.

Imagine if we signed him, her turned out to be poor. Everyone would then be baying for PJ's blood for signing him in the first place. No win situation.

Going to be an interesting few days.

Having seen him play I promise you that you won't want him at PR. He is not very good and was blamed solely by Koln fans for their demise last year and even had death threats!!!!

I´m really relieved that he is not going to be a Town player. Please trust me, he is the wrong player to solve our problems at the back. Good decision by PJ.

Keaneish and BuryBlue77 - note the same crew surface once again - Keaneish your description of 'fools' is very diplomatic and deserves credit.

You won't get any though - we're all not POSITIVE enough - words fail me with some of these absurd posts from these people.
But I think they describe themselves well !!!! - without any input from us.
