Inventing a bogus concern about data privacy to simply reduce the total number of foodbank referrals in an election year.

Wow, that's some low, low, stooping, even for the Tories.

The catalogue of immoral, inhuman acts that they have presided over seems never ending.

Remember the days of 'Yeah, but Corbyn...'
Imagine if we'd been led by someone with compassion, decency and a sense of equality.

There would be a government that allowed antisemitism of a scale that was equivalent to 1930s Germany ...

In which respect?

That the allegations about Corbyn were exaggerated or the allegations about the current climate are?

Let's be clear, Corbyn's actions were not good and a genuine cause for concern and the current climate of antisemitism whilst not endorsed by the government nor the law, is not good either.

Congratulations Facters, a deleted 12 pager on a Friday night is a tricky thing to achieve.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

Using the Holocaust as a scale to sarcastically criticise those who objected to Corbyn.

Doing what? You obviously haven't read any of GB's posts claiming this country is mirroring 1930's Germany. That is what I was referencing.

No, I haven't seen any of those posts, I was about to log out & will do so now - this isn't a convo I want to be having, esp on a Fri night after two particularly busy & stressful weeks.

Stupid bloody idea wasn’t it? It would have been useless. Fair enough if there was a massive surge in home working, or people using some weird video or application thing to connect, or if most home and businesses ran off the back of systems that needed to connect to the internet. I can’t see that happening time soon though.

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

The biggest problem I had with the policy was it being wheeled out at the 11th hour as if it was a desperate attempt to swing the vote. If they had announced it early in the election campaign it might have been better received.

That’s probably fair (I can’t remember tbh). Imagine readily available (in effect automatically provided) free or very cheap high speed broadband access. It’d be a game changer for every person and every company/organisation/body in the country. It’d have a huge impact on connectivity, productivity, output, (PornHub profits), etc.
