It's laughable really that this bunch of 60 or so fringe lunatics think they somehow represent the will of the majority and seem determined to try and impose what they want when there's a huge parliamentary majority, including most of their own party, completely opposed to what they are demanding.

I am a little surprised to see Ian Duncan Smith on there. I never liked him but he was leader when the tories were a little more sane. Looks like he's gone full swivel-eyed loon now.

He's always been one mate, he's just marginally better at hiding it than the rest.
I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

Do you remember the Coalition Government?
Do you remember the botched way it introduced Universal Credit?
Do you remember the heavy-handed use of sanctioning?
Or the new Invalidity Assessments (outsourced to private companies, of course)?
Do you remember the Benefits Cap?
Do you remember the explosion of Food Banks which arose from these policies?
Do you remember the Work Programme? Probably not, but it was criticised as giving benefits to business: the taxpayer subsidising wages for big businesses.
Well, Ian Duncan-Smith was the architect of all of that, as Work and Pensions Secretary under Cameron.
He found ways to make Austerity bite the poorest, hardest.
He's not one of the pieces of sweetcorn.

You are not a fan of his then.
It's a central tenet of democracy that we hold politicians to account for their actions.
It's easy to forget who is responsible for what, so I thought a little checklist would help.
Along with Gove, whose focus was on the dismantling of local Government services, IDS was one of the main architects of the Austerity agenda, and his particular focus was on, to use a loathsome phrase, the "undeserving poor".
Both Gove and IDS had the competence to carry out their agenda, too, which makes them more dangerous than many on their benches.
