Presumably he is unable to play for another club (including Tottenham) until January. I would expect another loan at somewhere like Portsmouth will be announced on 1st January.
It is clear we have not been selecting him since the decision for him to be recalled was made so he won't be in our squad any more if that is what is meant by "has he actually returned yet?" |  |

Yeah - he played a cameo role in a cup game for half hour or so.
Seems a bit daft of Spurs to be honest, that half hour probably cost him a couple of guaranteed starts here in the League Cup which might have helped kickstart things for him. Instead - they cup-tied him and now have no alternative loan option for him. | |
