Leicester by far the best team I’ve seen in the Championship. All about control and possession. Some of their interplay on the break was breathtaking. Also the widest team, with 4 players pinned to the touchlines.
Not surprising considering their squad cost £780m or whatever.
Our response to their goal was really good. I feared they’d just go on to get another couple, but we went straight on the front foot, even if they still made chances.
The moaning at Harry Clark annoys. I think he plays the most difficult, exposed position in the team. He blocks and tackles well, gets forward and even played a sumptuous through ball to Burns in the first half last night. The whole team was sucked into the middle before the ball went out to the touchline for their goal.
Marcus Harness is probably our best forward at the moment, linking between midfield and attack.
Thought McK’s subbing of Jackson worked well. He’d pressed brilliantly, but introducing a bit of Ladapo unpredictability made sense.
The NS celebrations for our goal were fun.
Over the last 5 games a haul of 8 points was good. Important not to lose last night. Apart from anything, what a great spirit in this team. |  | | |  |

Well said. The harrying of Clark is nonsensical. It is true that Mavididi had a too much space for the goal, but that was a team issue not a Clark issue. Generally Clark had a good game up against one of the best players he will come up against this season.
Leicester were good, that was particularly evident in the first half, but even in the second their defensive work was top quality and they posed a real threat on the break. But overall we matched them, and if we can match them, who are streets ahead of most of this division, we are in with a really good shot for autos.
Need to top that performance out by stuffing QPR now.
