Ramsdale incident 21:20 - Jan 15 with 1682 viewsonceablue

That Spurs fan was well out of order

Ramsdale did not need to get that close to the Spurs fans

He reckoned he needed to get his bottle is that his own personally bottle that he brings with him to every game. When he gets home does his Mother say where is your bottle Aaron?

He did it to wind up the Spurs fans. He should have been more interested in celebrating with his own fans

Players have to take responsibility and rise above it otherwise give up your very privileged life and joins us commoners in the stands

He went and got a bottle. Some scrote tried to boot him in the melon.

These are not comparable.

Ramsdale was simply retrieving an item in the field of his play where he does his job. Why should he expect anyone to come and kick him. Don't put this on the player. The Spurs fans who are giving him it all game and he kisses the badge at the end, fair enough. Fans have a responsibility too, they can get away with vile abuse of a player, they can't get away with assault.

Haven’t you seen the number of bottles they have on the sidelines

What the Spurs fan did was out of order and probably alcohol induced

But Ramsdale didn’t have to get so close to the Spurs fans

He wanted to get close to the Spurs fans to wind them up sometimes players act more like kids than the fans

You won the game that should be enough celebrate with your own fans

Ramsdale think about the money you earn and just walk away

It's not ... you are implying Ramsdale was asking for it. Watch how many keepers collect towels and bottles by the goal at the end of a game.

This reply is ridiculous. His item in the field of play. He didn't go and dig it out the stands. The advertising hoarding is the boundary and only one person crossed it.

If your saying he half deserved it for showing passion to the spurs fan then your part of the problem, he would of got stick for 45 mins and has every right to celebrate get his things and leave, without being kicked.

I think he certainly didn’t help matters turning round kissing the badge and being a wind up

Go and kiss the badge in front of your own fans

Forget yOur bottle and towel just for this one game they really aren’t that important I am sure Arsenal have plenty more

So...the collecting of a water bottle is deserving of being kicked?
