Main thing learnt today 16:51 - Oct 20 with 1763 views | blueconscience | Is that the squad needs more depth, a couple of players out and the team capitulates. Never mind, on to the next game where hopefully they can restore some pride.

The depth is there.... on 16:56 - Oct 20 with 1744 views | Bloots | ...Huws could have replaced Downes instead of Dozzell. Keane could have replaced Norwood instead of Judge. Can't moan about a lack of depth if we are going to leave obvious replacements on the bench.

Those replacements you mention are obviously not good enough then, They made a trash team look good. But as said previously, onto the next match, where they can get their act together.

Not sure about that unless Huws and Keane e.g. are injured on 17:12 - Oct 20 with 1685 views | Dyland | in which case why are they on the bench....

I think you need to read Blooters' response again (n/t) on 17:13 - Oct 20 with 1681 views | Dyland |

Donacien replace KVY? Might have been better to put Huws and Dozzell in the midfield and move Skuse back Keane for Norwood will be the most obvious swap/mistake in football. No one apart from Lambert would ever think Judge and Jackson is a good idea

I wonder if Lambert thought we could manage without them and save them for Wednesday which on paper is a tougher game. Possibly he also expected a more physical battle and didn't want them involved in it. Whatever it was, Jackson on his own did not work (and never has) and we lacked sufficient presence in midfield either at 5-3-1-1 or when we went 4-4-1-1.

Main thing learnt today on 17:33 - Oct 20 with 1603 views | strikalite | Main thing we haven't learnt is that you simply must go two upfront in this league, though he doesn't trust Keane's fitness so we're a target man short really.. [Post edited 20 Oct 2019 17:36]

I think today's selection coupled with his post match comments suggest that at the very least Downes and Norwood won't be ready for Wednesday. Huws and Keane are being held back for then.

….and left Keane on the bench I nearly spat out my tea. That decision alone is probably worth a banner.

He said a couple of time in his post talk that Huws and Keane can’t play 2 games on the spin so he obviously took today lightly and is saving for Wednesday.

Accrington have lost only 2 of their last 9 games. Very arrogant to call them trash.

Agreed, Accrington were not that good today, however we were poor all over the pitch. Misplaced passes and poor decision making. What's to worry about were still top of the league.

What's to worry about is continuing performances like that will see us struggle to stay in the top six, let alone top.

Disagree.. I think we’ve had been plenty poor performances this season but scrambled a win/draw.
