Clean Sheets 06:42 - Sep 19 with 871 viewswoodbridge_blue

Can any of the stattos out there confirm what our best sequence of clean sheets is? Can't have been anytime in the last few seasons.

We definitely did over five matches at the end of 96-97 before conceding in the lastleague match to Birmingham - and that defence included Tony Vaughan and Chris Swailes!

Under Mick in 2013 it was one goal in eight conceded (and that with 9 men) and we did five without a goal as part of that.

Can't be bothered to work the minutes out though.

I went on a 48 week streak of clean sheets in 2003-2004, Persil Bio and a spot of comfort was just enough to get through the season.

"Chambers has been pleasantly surprised by the extent to which Town have tightened up at the back, especially when he recalls the early-season form under ex-boss Paul Jewell that included a 6-0 hammering at Blackpool.

That came in only the third league game of the season and just four days after the 1-0 win at Watford that marked the only game of Jewell’s 14 in charge prior to his departure in which Town kept a clean sheet."
