And as Swiss Ramble showed, he has charged then over £80m in interest on loans since 2008. It's a no from me

He's a very sneaky guy. Obviously very clever 'business wise' but wouldn't trust him as far as you could throw him.

Agree, although he in some ways is quite open as he has always said he bought them to make money/as an investment, not as a fan of the club. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Got to love a man whose business meetings consist of drinking 18 points and vomiting into a pub fireplace though.

When I flick through Swiss Ramble, there is a part of me that does think "thank you ME". Especially when you see the repayments of Newcastle and some of the other top ones like Norwich, and we are right down at the bottom. If he reduced the season ticket prices I would defend him to the high hills, but I think season ticket prices should reflect what you see on the pitch not what you need to see in the P&L accounts.

Mike Ashley to buy ITFC ? on 16:18 - Jan 7 with 2809 views | monty_radio | While opinion seems finely divided between "No" and "definitely No", the reality is that it's not actually very likely, is it? He may be all manner of things, but clever is certainly one of them : House of Fraser is one thing - House of Cards is another. [Post edited 8 Jan 2019 9:23]

Problem for us, is Season Tickets are going to be the main source of income for us in L1. So they need to maximise revenue, not necessarily maximise attendance. Unless Evans is prepared to subsidise it further to increase attendances. For example, I don't believe halving the ST or match day price would double the take-up

Was thinking about external sourcing next year. He will probably try and source a sponsorship deal for the stadium rights I can genuinely see Evans trying to increase pricing through minimal % to outweigh the inevitable loss of attendance of dropping into League 1. But on the flip side agree, cutting ST by 50% won't double your attendance.

Even if they did the nett gain would be zero. Evans is going to have to get creative on how to artificially inflate the turnover.

He could go in some stocks and charge £50 to throw various items at him. There's £5m right there
