Tommy was a top defender. But there was never much of that. Must be a story behind it, press talk or goading? Be interested to know, even as he was sent of there he was signalling to the crowd.

Funnily enoough, though he triggered the ruckus, once it kicked off he was the most level-headed and restrained player on the pitch.
Sorry , but TS is simply not good enough and in truth he was only ever a league one defender. Remove the “ he’s one of our own” halo, and “ he gives his all” ( yes he did), , you are left with a limited player. I’d rather have Woolfie in the team. He’s the future of the Club, and we should be bringing him and all the other excellent Academu players that have been shipped out by Hurst.
