Ipswich physio recommendation? 09:16 - Oct 1 with 3530 viewsDubtractor

Anyone have a good one they can recommend?

I've had what I think is a trapped nerve in my shoulder for a few months and it clearly isn't going to sort itself out after this long.

Cheers.

If he's over 25 there's no real need for a physio, he knows his body well enough.

Indeed... and to Dubs, if you do get recommended a good one, perhaps you could pass the details on to the club?

Will Dykes does a surgery at Martlesham Squash club. If I remember rightly he was the civvy physio for the paras and I am sure he has done elite sports stuff.

He's a sadistic B*stard but bloody good at his trade.

I went to some bird around The Crofts way - she was ok, it was for a torn rotator cuff - although ultimately I had to have cortisone.

PM Bossbeard, he is always in rehab of some kind. He is a bit like Dot Cotton, complete hypochondriac - but he knows his physios.

It's difficult to argue with.

My current chap is a sports injury specialist - happy to provide details but not sure if he's suitable for the requirement here. PM me and I'll provide details if deemed appropriate.

Dave Williams (former Town physio) runs his own business now based in Kesgrave. They are supposed to be good.

Brian Simpson, used to be a physic with Town, branched out and became famous for putting racing motorcylists back together.
Maybe pricey but has an excellent record

Great Photo of Brian here, he has changed a little since then. Cloughie offered him a job, but he turned Brian turned him down.

If you are prepared to go a little further afield than just Ipswich I have heard that Dr Eva Carneiro is good, though does things her own way which isn't to everyone's liking.

Point of order, old boy. That’s Tommy Eggleston, who succeeded Brian Simpson.

Really? He is a dead ringer if that’s the case. To be fair when I showed it to Brian he said he would take a look at home once he had his glasses.
