Mustard debate 10:47 - May 4 with 8184 viewsBluefish

This has always caused me troubles due to the colour and the Norfolk connections. I love mustard and tried lots of alternatives to colmans but they were all rubbish. I now happy that I can openly buy colmans but whatbisbit acceptable to have mustard with?

I have it with breakfast on bacon, sausages or eggs and my colleagues think this is odd. What are your thoughts?

Mustard is superb.

Nothing wrong with having it on eggs, sausages & bacon.

Next time you do an omelette add a few dollops of mustard. I personal favourite is ham, mushrooms, red onion, mustard & Parmesan cheese.

What about mustard powder in cheese twists etc?

Not sure they're strictly a breakfast item but lets face it, when most people eat sugary cereals or pop tarts etc the bar isn't high.

You missed out Wilkin and Sons chilli mustard, which is amazing. Not to mention Beaver Hot Jalapeno mustard, which is more moreish than crack.

Use Dijon in the mash instead of wholegrain, and olive oil instead of butter. It sounds poncy but trust me.
