Hello mate.

I'm a bit lazy nowadays, what with one thing and another, tbh.

When I do have an opportunity to do a few things for a table I have a few 'go-to' dishes I feel safe with. I like a jeera chicken, very simple but really good; dry-ish, on the bone thighs and drumsticks that make a decent centre piece for the table if you're cooking for a few.

I really like a good old dhansak if I'm honest. Bit of effort to make the masalas but once they're done they can sit in the cupboard for months and be used time and again.

I made some fenugreek type chicken a couple of nights ago. I like to make a pot and use it for a few days. I made a veg curry last night to go with it. Nice enough.

Indian isn't difficult to be fair. I do remember marveling at the whole thing until I realised even an idiot like me can put together a nice table of food with a bit of thought and know-how.
