If we do sign Ross, do not expect samba football and 5 nil victories every week straight away.
This could take up to a month to achieve.

I was expecting more along the lines of 7 or 8 nil wins initially

I'll be happy with mustering more than 2 shots on target in 90mins at Portman Road.

its going to take him a while to get some players trained back up into being footballers, so I expect this to be a long drawn out process, but the massively important thing is that there will be an actual plan to buy into.
buzzing for it

I was thinking probably 37 days............

A month would be good.
There are three months before the season starts so we would be two months ahead of schedule.

Next season will be a bit of a write off i suspect, as whomever takes over will need time to implement ideas identify who does and doesn't fit into his plans.

It's about laying down foundations.

It will take him 2-3 seasons to change things. People need to accept he's operating in a lower Scottish league, women's football in England is a higher standard and fans need to give him time

exactly this, i'll be happy to finish 9-12th with a plan in place, and some exciting/attacking football.

I actually think it might work alot quicker than you think.

Players showed in the final 4 games that they had the ability to play football... it was just hidden by alternative tactics.

I believe with freedom of play we could actually have an exciting season from the off.

Waka waka eh eh

A significant number of fans believe the foundations are already there. Most fans will be more than happy if we are well placed in the championship at the end of the year and have had at least two wins in a cup competition.

I'd very happily take a 10th to 13th placed finish so long as its entertaining and we are in touch with the play off places for most of the season.

BloomBlue- 2-3 seasons? Who’s been pissing in your cornflakes! Anyone would think we were in disarray rather than very solidly mid table and having flirted with the chance of the play-offs up until probably the draw at Carrot Road

Why wait you can already get 40/1 with Skybet. No other teams are higher priced.

You want a lot. We will be lucky to avoid going down. We havent any footballers, you cant turn most of our hoofers into football players. Whoever comes is really going to struggle.

& if Town can play most of the game in the opponents half instead of just forward of Town's 18 yard box that will be even better

Having a high number of shots may not tell you much about the quality of those chances. But a low number does tell you that you aren't making many chances.
