IIRC he was prescribed beta blockers for a racing heart but they were added to the banned list so lager had the same reaction as it helped him relax. |  |

Just finished reading 'Winning Isn't Everything' the Sir Alf biography which was interesting. Anyone read it? There's a bit from when Sir Alf took over that resonates now...

Yes, it is. Not a long book, reads more like long-from journalism but that's not a fault as it gets the story across well. |  |
