My daughter loves playing a game where we make up a '... would you rather' question with just two alternatives, so I wondered ..... would you rather ....
1. We get thrashed by Norwich resulting in Mick departing and a new manager being bought in.
2. We turn it on, thrash them, and Mick is, once again, secure in his job and so we continue.
Don't get me wrong. I know we all love our club and would never want us to lose, especially against Norwich, but would there be a case for short term pain for long term gain?

Especially as I think the first part of 1) is unlikely to result in the second part of that option. And even if it is, I have no confidence it would be an improvement.
Conversely, I don't believe thrashing Norwich will make any real difference to whether or not McCarthy is here next season.
I know it's a purely hypothetical question, but for me it's not a particularly realistic one. And I always want to see us beat Norwich.

I love you Guthers. If TWTD was the Starship Enterprise you are our own Mr Spock!
No mate, none at all. Been a tough year but well out of it. The narcissistic bully still tries to rile me but I just let it wash over me with a wry grin. The more I don't react the angrier she gets. Cool Hand Luke me.

It's a good tactic but not always possible if you are trying to argue a point that is plain as day.
I'm having a cyber beer with you right now.
“Hello, I'm your MP. Actually I'm not. I'm your candidate. Gosh.”
Boris Johnson canvassing in Henley, 2005.
You'd get overwhelmed by numbers, run out of energy and they have you. It's possible to outmaeuver an extra large rabbit.
I reckon I could take at least 20 out straight away without breaking sweat. The rest I could just pick off as they came at me. Their long faces would make for an easy target zone, just bang bang bang, straight off the laces.
A massive rabbit would be difficult to get to grips with, and under all that fur, any body shots would be rendered useless.

I have learnt that even if a point is plain as day a Narcissist doesn't see it. They live in an alternate reality that they believe is true. I've been sent texts and e mails that are abusive and just plain crazy. She loves it and wins when I react. Hates it when I don't.
She is a well respected career woman in the community but underneath the facade an absolute loon.
Best just disengage. To argue the point just feeds her and causes me grief. I've learnt this the hard way.
Never stop learning do we.
