Biker in petrol station: Sh1t, I've put diesel in my bike
Me: Yeah, not good. Maybe the guy in the shop has a tube, we can get it out and then put some petrol in.

I used to have a BM 7 Series which was and I put Diesel in by mistake once. It was when they brought out cleaner Diesel and I never bothered reading. Just saw a green pump and filled it up. Cost me about £300 to have it grained out. |  |

I cannot stand the 'mod-life crisis' sorts who normally seem to be mid-50s in age, where very bad/cheap suits and parkas and dress their scoots up like Xmas trees. The mod look only really works if you're under 25 and thin as a rake.
I went through the mod phase as a teen and then the scooterboy thing (I think/hope the only bad fashion faux pas I made then was boxing boots with splash-bleached Levis!) before finding my own way. Bless up youth culture, it's dead now. | |
