I can't take to axel. Of all the ball players he scares the sht out of me. Its probably calmness but he leaves it sooooo late to pass the ball. Plus he's not that helpful in the final third ( aware he was a certain goal we scored) Think if we are gonna hit these games just like our others with a fit squad... it needs clarke for the overlaps.

Hull left side is extremely strong. AT to start and Clarke later if pushing for our 5th goal.

So team tomorrow. on 07:09 - Apr 27 with 1773 views | MK1 | That is what we will hopefully go with. Having Burns back right now would be massive for us. If Hirst is fit enough and we are winning, maybe give him 10 minutes at the end.

Although just a 0-1 after Nodge get pummelled 0-5 at home by Swansea would be a nice set up for a last day 5-0 away loss for them at Birmingham (get well soon Mr Mowbray) and Hull to get a modest victory at Plymouth and pip the Budgies to the final pkay-off spot...

Have to hope he stays further back if that's the game plan, can't have him marauding up the pitch as he never gets back quick enough.

I think Al-Hamadi started because Moore was carrying an injury greater than his.

They're different players, different injuries, different amounts of time out. There's no comparison.

Not comparing them no. Just saying KM has started those you thought couldn't. Burns has trained all week. Had weeks of recovery now. I'd be quite surprised if he doesn't start actually. Better to have him start than finish imo.

If he’s fit enough to be on the bench, he’s fit enough to start. It’s much easier to manage his minutes if he starts, because no on3 knows when he might be called on

Agreed. He is calm, but I don’t think it’s all down to calmness. Clarke’s more instinctive and moves the ball a lot quicker generally, Tuanzebe seems a bit less clued in to what the options are and takes longer to decide. That’s how it looks to me, but I could be wrong. Out movement down the right is slower when Clarke’s not there.

I am resigned to nodge making the play offs. Them being firmly dispatched in both legs by one of their ex managers would be fine with me. West Brom to beat that team in the final would be icing on the cake.

Well no, that's nonsense I'm afraid. Players are rested to the bench all the time. If he's not fully match fit, which is unlikely given he's been out for weeks, then it makes sense to bring him on when the opposition tires. He's more likely to be at their level then.
