I mean surely he's going to be coming back relatively soon.
Whatever it is troubling him, be it personal or injury related, he still deserves full support and I'd be much happier seeing him come back 100% ready, mentally and physically again before the end of the season, rather than rushing him in.

Difficult to know the full story of course. But we may have tried harder to get our reported back up full back targets in January if it had been established at that stage that Williams wasn't returning. We're short of full backs at present. What happens if Davis (god forbid) gets injured? Neither Humphreys nor Axel are really full backs, we are still missing JD. |  | | |
