A thought on away games in the Championship 08:31 - Nov 30 with 601 viewsDubtractor

In the last few days Leeds, Southampton and Leicester have dropped points against Rotherham, Huddersfield and Sheffield Wednesday. Just in case anyone was in doubt that there really are no easy away games in this league.

I know it was only a minority, but the reaction from some to recent away results was way OTT, and people really need to temper expectations about away games.

Yep.

And there's a big one on Saturday - WBA v Leicester, they can't both win!

Indeed. Our early away run for form was, frankly, ridiculous and was never likely to continue. Would be nice if we can pick up a win at Boro or Watford, both will be very tough games and we won't be favourites to win either but if we can find a way to get a victory it'll be an excellent confidence boost. Keep winning at home, take points away as often as we can, that'll be the recipe for success.
