The sensible (reliable) weather forecasters suggest mild weather for the next 7 days with a small chance of cold weather creeping in. As you've use the word 'express' I think I know where your doom and gloom weather armageddon has come from.
Don't believe a word I say. I'm only kidding. Or am I?

You could not be more wrong....he's not called James MADden for nothing!
Edit...early December onwards from latest models.

"They break our legs and tell us to be grateful when they offer us crutches."
There is a chance. The North Sea is still warm. Thus loads of moisture to produce longer spells of snow. Also need a cold isotherm....wind coming in from the east....I'll be buying myself an extra jumper.

Things seem to be firming up on this or similar but it is weather at the end of the day so we'll see. BTW, weather forums are even funnier than here. Talk about an emotional rollercoaster. Best observed from a distance!

Thanks I’ll have a look at those……from a distance.

Been too wet for grass cutting surely?
I've been barely able walk on mine without it cutting up.
It could have done with one more trim and looks a bit wild. Hey ho, have to wait until Spring now unless we get a heatwave in the next few weeks.
Last one today, in the rain on a high cut. Not a fan myself, but hey ho, the customer is always right or something...........and they paid me well so couldn't really refuse.
We have no village green, or a shop.
It's very, very quiet.
I can walk to the pub.

It's a whole world of leaves now and they will be getting increasingly crunchy!! Looks likely to be an extended cold spell....chop your wood and lag your pipes! Details will change but here's a beast for 10 days away....
It's not called High Wycombe for nothing....

Cheers fella for posting. Fire wood delivery this evening. Should be enough to go with what i scavanged during the last year to last into March. Quite enjoy a bit of wood chopping. Sudden stratospheric warming has a lot to answer for.
You guys got enough work on in the impending cold spell?
