Which we know of, it has been alleged that one of the factories which may or may not have produced it was in Uzbekistan? The Americans helped to deconstruct this facility. Are we really naive enough to think they wouldn't have learnt how to make this stuff?
Whether they would want to is quite another issue but we are pedalled this line repeatedly whether it is true or not, we will simply never know

We have the substance and the motive. We also have the previous case of the poisoning of Alexander Litvinenko. An alternative explanation would be it's a false flag.
So one credible explanation and another conspiracy theory.
There isn't anything to move forward. The UK, US and EU have pretty much destabilised Putin's FSB network with the expulsions.
