I have a knack for boring threads... 17:28 - Nov 28 with 1383 views

... so here's another.

Having a lovely Ghostie en route back to that there London. But for the last god knows how many years they always put me in the same carriage. Does this happen to everyone, as it seems a statistical impossibility to always wind up in the same one.

Is it just the booking system or what? Wouldn't mind being a bit more exotic at some point, D or F, anything!

No idea what class of loco it is. But FWIW it's the same train i've been taking for more than 20 years and will likely be the same for the next 20.

Now I want to encourage you not to put yourself down, but I have to say, as "travel by train" threads go it falls a long way short of the standard set by Lucan.
