This coach welcome. 20:41 - May 1 with 857 views | FrimleyBlue | I absolutely hated the thought of the first one. Definitely didn't see the need for the norwich one. E But who ever is involved Saturday. Make the absolute most of it. These days don't come round often. For some it could be the last time they see them so fly your flags. Wave the pyros in the air. Sing. Dance. Wave your hands in the air like you just don't care. Can not wait to see the videos come Sunday. If we lose. We'll then it just isn't meant to be.

This coach welcome. on 20:45 - May 1 with 782 views | ArnieM | “ Ipswich only need 1 point to gain promotion after 22 years “ ….all over national media , and social media. Tbh it’s starting to feel like a heavy weight. Yes , we are close, but aren’t over that line yet, and to be “ celebrating” before the game on Saturday, whilst understandable, could blow up in our faces and we end up looking ridiculous. And imagine the joy north of the boarder if that scenario happens. We need to respect Huddersfield Town. They have nothing to lose by coming for us.

It's not a celebration, it's a show of support.

Fans don't need to respect them the players do and they will as shown by the previous 2 years imo. End of day. We did it v exeter and it worked. We should have been out of sight of norwich inside 10 minutes and still got a point anyway which would be enough in this specific game anyway. If we lose it won't be because of a lack of respect.

It's not a celebration. If anything it shows respect as the fans are saying this is huge and it's a show of support. If the fans thought it was 100% guaranteed there would be no coach welcome because it would be pointless.

The coach welcome isn't a celebration. I don't see why people keep calling it that. When other clubs do it, it isn't a celebration either. It's meant to be an extra motivator for the players and a symbolic way of the fans and team being as one.

Given how street wise and engaged our team is, and the bloke we’ve got at the helm, I think we can be pretty confident that they be all too aware that there’s still a job to do. We’ve never shown an ounce of complacency since McKenna took over and we won’t start now. That applies to the fans too. I’m sure come kick off it’ll all be about the vocal support, and what will be will be.
