Handy tip. You don’t need to open each thread. If it’s the 10th thread on the same thing in 5 minutes with 0 replies, you might not get much of a discussion going.

Chatroom has a strange status on TWTD. It's less confrontational and more of a faff to use than posting your own hot take, so the hot take posters probably never visit the Chatroom. Got an old fashioned name. Maybe needs an upgrade and rebranding.

I checked the Burnley forum for our matches with them last season and there was just one thread which all kept to.

You'll get downvoted for it, and I know it's a controversial take on here. But for me the absence of match threads.

Look at the Leicester forum as an example. There's a Championship, Other Games and also individual match threads. It's a much easier to follow format that also serves as a good way to look back.

It is a bit of a messy free for all on here during any significant match with people treating new posts as if it's a chatroom.

You can do all that in one thread though, no? He's not saying you can't do any of that.

My point is that then you get a load of threads and no real discourse and the experience is worse.
Maybe the chatroom doesn't need to b e open, but having one match thread would work much better.
