Think it was known but its still a farce. Prem should retract their parachute payments. Ban them from future parachute payments and deduct 20 points for 2025/2026. [Post edited 12 Apr 17:36]

They've worked outside of the rules to get an advantage, and they're not being punished for it. Think I'd actually prefer Leeds to go up alongside us (fingers crossed we get a top two position) and West Brom win the Play Offs.

As I have said before: a player who has had a tiny mistake made on their registration, who comes on as an injury time sub for 3 minutes, will result in a club being thrown out of the FA Cup. But if a team cheats rules designed to ensure fair play, by purchasing players beyond their means, their registration stands and the club can even cheat two years running in two different Leagues and have punishment delayed twice.

It's just laughable of the EFL that they and the Prem didn't align when making the rules to say that regardless of league you will get deducted points that season. End of the day, the prem is an english league, so should accordingly fall under the EFL. Am i right in thinking, if you break the rules in the efl.. you do actually get a points deduction in the prem..... if not, why on earth do clubs stick to FFP in the championship?

Because if you don't go to the Premier League, then the EFL can punish.
Leicester safe from point deduction this season on 18:39 - Apr 12 with 898 views | Churchman | No surprise. Leicester are important. If a Port Vale or a Cheltenham put a toe out of line, the full weight of punishment will fall upon them. The โsystemโ is corrupt and the so called punishments non existent. If Leicester get promoted, they will have cheated their way to it. They will be laughing their heads off.

Until the Premier League punish them. Think they will get a points deduction before a ball is kicked. Hopefully anyway.

Leicester safe from point deduction this season on 21:02 - Apr 12 with 556 views | Pinewoodblue | Leicester are playing a dangerous game for short term gain. Gain promotion and start next season with a points deduction applied. Fail to gain promotion and it looks as if they will start the next championship season with a points deduction. The following season, in Championship , unless they sell and significantly reduce their wage bill they would surely face further points deduction. The amount they could lose in a3 year period, and stay within the rules , would be less than the losses just reported for 2022/23. Still of course facing a penalty from EPL as and when they gain promotion. You have to feel sorry for Leicester fans.
